There you go, Ben. 61-60 Bulls.

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2004 @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:17 AM) Orlando plays little to no defense. I wasn't worried when we were down 16. This is the type of team you can go on big runs against. Yep, good point. Their team defense can be atrocious at times, and when Francis is throwing up bricks on the offensive end, teams come back with authority.
-
49-49 at the half. Gordon is 0-3 with 0 points in 9 minutes, but this game is so close that we'll either win or lose tonight based on his 4th quarter performance. Chandler has 9 rebounds at the half, and he leads the league in 4th quarter rebounding, so he might approach 20 tonight.

Bulls take the lead after being down 25-9

Bulls are down 43-40 with 4 minutes to go in the half. We only have 1 turnover as a team so far while the Magic have 9. Otherwise, we're losing most of the battles (FG%, Rebounds, Assists, etc)
-
Yep, here they come.
-
Orlando is up 36-26 halfway through the 2nd quarter. Dwight Howard has 3 fouls, so now is the time to bumrush these dudes. Hinrich brought his A game tonight. He's all over the place.
-
Bulls shooting 7-27 after 1 quarter. Ben Gordon (0-3) needs to step up and score some points. I see a rookie on the Magic that Ben couldn't even bring gatorade to, let alone challenge for ROY.
-
Baby Dwight is going for a double double in the 1st quarter.
-
Oh boy, Magic up 25-9. Not looking good.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 05:52 AM) Don't look at spring stats too hard. You got to remember lots of time pitchers are working on new pitches or specifically working on one of their pitches. I know I saw Escobar pitch for the Angels this spring and he got hammered, but he was working his changeup almost exclusively. Guys pitch a lot different in spring then they would in the majors (at least those guys with major league jobs). Plus anyone that depends on the breaking ball in Arizona tends to have an inflated ERA. I hear that, especially if we're talking about starters who have proven themselves in the majors. Spring stats don't mean jack in a majority of cases because those players with job security are looking to better themselves, and therefore, naturally, there's gonna be trial and error. -

QUOTE(Fotop @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 10:46 PM) I guess I'm in the minority here, but I like Haren a lot. He's got good stuff, and towards the end of last year and during the postseason he pitched pretty well. He seems to me like a young guy who just misses bats, and I'm assuming he'll get a good amount of Ks for you. However, you'll have to put up with the growing pains, but for a guy pitching in the colisseum it shouldn't be that bad. If your looking for bargain bin pitching, guys like haren, bonderman, etc. are the way to go because they get Ks. Granted, Haren isn't to bonderman's level yet, or an oliver perez type level at all...but he's got everything you would think in someone who could "potentially" breakout. I am torn as to whether or not I should start Haren in Baltimore on Thursday. I have contemplated starting him only in home games and in a select few away games (Seattle, Detroit, etc). Bonderman went kind of high in a lot of drafts. I usually load up on baseball fantasy magazines, and it seems like every last one has Bonderman down as a "can't miss" sleeper. I now have my eye on Blue Jay starter Gustavo Chacin, who performed very well in his first start & won 18 games last year between AA and AAA. I'm also very intrigued by Kazmir and Brazelton, but they're both so raw... -

QUOTE(Y2HH @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 09:16 PM) The fact the writer called Valentine a bad "team" guy is an absolute travishamockery...Valentine was always a GREAT team leader in the clubhouse, so to call him a bad team player is just plain dumb. Valentine is an Italian name. How you and countless others can confuse a Puerto Rican name for an Italian name is something that I could never figure out even if my life depended on it. -
Brawl time. Wade takes exception to a hard Nocioni foul.
-
Adrian Griffin is playing very well. This might be his best game in a Bulls uniform, unless I'm missing something.

QUOTE(danman31 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 01:08 AM) And, I can't help it, but f*** you TRU. You've just been pissing me off lately and I had to get that off my chest.

Hinrich still has 0 points on 0-7 shooting with 7 minutes left in the 3rd.

QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 12:44 AM) Well one positive is the hear arte only shooting 67% for the game. It's an improvement considering they were shooting 80% after the first quarter. Haha, yeah. Things could be worse, I suppose. Field Goals Bulls 16-49 .327 Heat 23-34 .676 3 Point Range Bulls 2-13 Heat 5-8 Free Throws Bulls 10-14 .714 Heat 13-15 .867 Assists Bulls 4 Heat 13

QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 12:43 AM) Then he shouldn't stare down another player and risk getting a technical. The refs aren't gonna give you a technical if you stare a guy down & no harsh words or physical blows are being exchanged.
-
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 12:40 AM) I think it's stupid. I'd rather have too much passion than not enough passion. I mean, Chandler really wants to win.
-
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 12:39 AM) What a putz. Staring down Mourning when you are losing by 20 points? :headshake That's an inside thing between big men. They're both rugged competitors.
-
OMG, Tyson with the thunder dunk. Staring down Mourning and what not.
-
Damon Jones 5-5 from 3 point range so far.
-
We still have only 3 assists as a team, and we're approaching the half. Captain Kirk has one hell of a fantasy line through the first half: 11 Minutes 0-5 0 Points 0 Rebounds 0 Assists 0 Steals 1 Turnover

QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 12:30 AM) His rotation are some of the best in the league when at full strength. I agree, Skiles is phenomenal.
