Back in the late 80's, my then girlfriend went with a bunch of her friends to LA for spring break and wound up winning a Yugo (among a few other prizes) on TPIR. It was such a hassle just getting the car as there were very few dealers in So. IL at the time and even brand new it really seemed like a POS car.

As much as i like most of Netflix's original content.....there almost seems to be too much to dig through to find something i might like. I also hate binging a seasons-worth of tv in two days then waiting a year for the next season. That being said...i am about halfway through Netflix's Travelers......it has been very entertaining.

Sadly, I never progressed PAST the PS2....however the old machine is still kicking (after a brief scare a year ago). Never really had the time or money to invest in anything else. I got 5 or 6 games I still play and enjoy regularly and a couple PS1 games as well.

Was just talking to a cousin in Ohio and he mentioned his wife won tickets for game 7 and he was there when the Cubs won. I told him if he was smart....he'd wring out his clothes from that day and sell the rainwater...err....i mean sell authentic Harry Carry tears on Ebay and make a bundle......

I find it very laughable that within the first 24hrs of their teams World Series victory, that I'm seeing a lot of cub fans online craving validation of their team from Sox fans. With all the hyperbole I've been hearing...I'm guessing the MLB will just cancel the next three or four seasons and just give the Cubs the hardware. I don't remember Sox fans whining "why don't you love us??" after we won 2005......and God knows we could have..... I tried to tell one friend to not worry about us Sox fans and just enjoy her team's victory because you never know what can happen next year....injuries....trades...slumps...down years. It looks good that (at the very least) Cubs will make playoffs again if not more but it's not guaranteed and people lost their s*** over that comment. Considering how big of a fan base they have and the upward direction of their team, their mental fragility of some fans surprise me. I guess when you spent the last century holding on the the 'Loveable loser' moniker, suddenly being without it must be hard....lol So....hopefully we don't have to wait too long for free agency to come along for some of these players and they can (might) move on........

I love how mentally fragile some of my Cub fan friends can be...... After last night's game I posted on FB "Don't worry my Cub fan friends....i remember back in 2005 when the Sox were down to the 'stros 2 games to 1 when they......oh wait.....Sox SWEPT when they went to the Series......" couple of my friends really went nuts........lol....haven't been called a douchebag in 10 years.....haha
