  1. I'm pretty sure, not positive, that the skull on his beret is part of the outer heaven logos, which features a skull. Big boss taking zanzibar land and what not, I'm thinking a remake of the originals makes more since than a sequel to the prequel with the raiden spin-off, especially if big boss is the one pictured on the site, well before raiden was born.
  2. A lot of talk on IGN suggests a remake. I'm thinking that they are remaking the first game, maybe the second?? and by first and second, I mean the NES versions.
  3. MGS5??? Looks to be a new Metal Gear Dunno if it's for PSP, XBox 360 or PS3.....still sweet news.
  4. QUOTE (G&T @ May 26, 2009 -> 07:08 PM) Luckily, I've been finding great coupons and cheap places to eat out. wow....some are resorting to accepting coupons??
  5. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 26, 2009 -> 07:40 PM) I still don't really get why it is considered bush league. It isn't like your looking back and stealing a pitch location or something. Or even messing with the pitchers rhthym. How is it any different than someone having a unique way to open there swing, ie, Sheffield with his bat wag, etc. I don't see it either, at least no advantage, and he's moving when the ball is out of the pitchers hands.
  6. Anybody been paying attention to this? Kojima's Next See many different suggestions on what it might be. I'd like to see a MG5, but I have no clue how they can draw the series out anymore....I'd like to see a whole new series for Kojima to focus on. Either way, got at least 40 min before we find anything out....unless the countdown resets again.
  7. I don't think getting hit by a pitch is going to make him change his new approach. It seems to be working for him, no reason to put his tail between his legs and do what the opposing pitcher wants him to do. Seriously....would you let a major league pitcher intimidate you? It hasn't happened yet, I'd bet if he gets hit, he continues with it.
  8. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 26, 2009 -> 03:39 PM) Nope, not when you live on the East Coast and it starts at 10. and you got to go to work at 4 in the morning
  9. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 26, 2009 -> 03:24 PM) perfect smiley reply
  10. QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ May 26, 2009 -> 03:09 PM) I am quite surprised by that stat. I'd like it better if we can say soon enough "Whitesox have won 15 of their last 20 games"

  13. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 24, 2009 -> 11:59 PM) Terminator Salvation Review, by an actual fan of the franchise. Hi, my name is Steve. I grew up with the Terminator... Terminator 2: Judgement Day was one of the films that defined my youth. It was excellent. From this, I went back and watched the original Terminator, and enjoyed it. However, Judgement Day was numero uno. Then came Terminator 3. It was just a movie... a disappointment, but it was Arnold, and it had some nice moments of cinematography. Enter: Terminator Salvation Having heard the negative reviews and going in with expectations moderately tempered, I sat in awe as the opening sequence blew me away. However, I expected this, having heard that this is the best moment of the film. Quick aside... Christian Bale used his Batman voice in this movie. Anyway, some of the holes that folks have pointed to, such as were unfounded as the plotline delivered perfect explanations. Beyond that, they wonderfully paid homage to the past films ( ) Anyone who is a fan of the franchise is going to come away quite happy with this movie. I thought it was downright awesome, and when it comes to films, I can be pretty picky. I kept waiting for this movie to start being less awesome, and it didn't. Sam Worthington definitely showed up Bale in this film... his role was awesome. However, Bale fit the role perfectly. **** out of ***** Yeah, seriously, it was that good. Don't listen to some critics who don't know a damn thing about the franchise. Listen to me. i'm agreeing with you totally. There are some reviews that totally bashed the movie. When I watched it, i'd wondered if they saw the same movie i did.
  14. QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ May 22, 2009 -> 09:42 AM) The reviews were spot on about Terminator Salvation, particularly about the lack of character development in anyone. It just wasn't an enjoyable movie. Even though I didn't expect much coming in, it was one of those films that despite everything I've heard about it, I had to see it for myself. I thought the entire Harvester at the gas station scene was great, but aside from that, it was incredibly dull. Is this the best that anyone could do with the material? Maybe it's just me, but I would have preferred a story that began with John and his wife inside the underground bunker at the end of T3, leading up to their arrival in the resistance. Not the alternative we're presented with. Also, and I don't know if this is a spoiler so I'll tag it: Lack of character development for anyone????? We already know about two of the main characters Reese and Connor. I'll give you that Marcus and Blair's characters had almost no development. Bryce Dallas Howard was wasted I think, she got too little screen time. And the other characters are just filler...to just be there, didn't really need to know their backstory. I give the movie a solid 6-6.5 out of 10. If better writers are brought in with a better director for the inevitable sequel and they can expand on what the first one brought, maybe it makes T4 a little better. Who knows....I don't think it was as bad as a lot of reviewers are saying. Anybody notice how small a part Terry Crews got....I thought it'd be a little bigger.
  15. funny not to see any major sports networks or sites reporting it. i say give it another 2 - 3 weeks, while we play interleague and central division teams...then make a decision from there on the fire-sale
  16. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 21, 2009 -> 04:56 PM) Heyman reports deal is dead. Peavy will talk to media in 30 min. Sox wouldnt pick up the option. He's getting it from deluca, deluca is getting it from cowley ah well....2 1/2 months til trade deadline, what to do.....what to do....
