  1. he just left my house in an unzipped hoody, and basketball shorts. He amazes me....it's f***ing -5 in Peoria with a -28 wind chill. This morning he had to get a ride from someone because he forgot to put gas in his car. Not bright at all.
  2. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 03:08 PM) Does your little brother ride the short bus to school in the morning? No he isn't special or anything...but he isn't real bright. He just broke something in my kitchen just now...what's that tell ya? It was a drinking glass.
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 02:42 PM) Well all except for the fact that we don't have a Liriano knocking on the door. Duh ...just saying if we got someone in the minors on fire, and Colons up in the majors with a 6+ERA not doin much...can't hesitate to try one of the prospects.
  4. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 02:59 PM) The best is when someone is actually talking on their phone and try to grab something with their other free hand and hold the phone b/w head and shoulder and it slips out and plop. Both hands occupied and phone into glass. Too funny. My little brother had his phone in his mouth, glass in one hand, sandwich in the other walking down the stairs of my house. He dropped it right in his glass. Then like a week later he had his phone on his glass, it was narrow enough, and he jerked and it fell right in.
  5. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 02:42 PM) Voice-wise? yeah...Hayter thought giving Snake a growly voice in MGS4 would add to him looking older.
  6. and of course you don't tell the insurance what really happened...lol
  7. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 02:53 PM) So, this happens a lot - the dropping phones into beer glasses thing?? Man, I feel like such an amateur drinker now. since text messaging....you take your phone out...look at the text in front of your face, and over your beer....sometimes you lose grip of the phone, and then plop.
  8. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 02:39 PM) As much as I love that series I can't help but chuckle when I hear snake talking. I'm currently replaying Metal Gear Solid for PS1...you can really tell the difference from a younger snake to an older one.
  9. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 02:37 PM) While they're playing Metal Gear Solid 4. lol, thinking the same.
  10. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 02:36 PM) Haven't seen the movie, but would it be funny if Clint Eastwood's character in Gran Torino talked to Christian Bale as Batman? It would be super deep, scratchy voices going back and forth like no other. Add in David Hayter, Solid Snake, from Metal Gear Solid 4
  11. QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 01:39 PM) If the White Sox do give him 7-8 starts, it still could cost us something in terms of intangibles/development/time/wins if he really performs poorly. Maybe others don't see him getting that much rope, but if our options are colon vs. CR/AP I'm not really sure why they wouldn't give Colon more rope than some might think. Kinda like the Livan/Liriano ordeal with the twins. If any of the pitchers are lighting it up and Colon is crap, Sox must not make that same mistake.
  12. i think whenever possible(if at all) find a way to put a lid on your glass. Me and a few different friends have dropped phones in full glasses. I tend to drink bottles a lot more now. My little brother did it twice in 1 week.
  13. Back in the photoshop mood...so if anybody wants an avatar or sig let me know what I can do for you.

  15. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 01:22 PM) I also hate that I always seem to go to the bathroom at work right when someone's dropping a deuce. I wish they'd put a fan or some windows in there or something. I can relate. I had a delivery route, so I had to stop at public places. I usually timed it the same and went to the bathroom at the same place, the mall. 4 Times out of 5 there was someone taking a s***.
  16. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 01:20 PM) I hate the fact that my car has the defroster on full blast with the rear window defroster and I still have the windows freezing over because it isnt enough When the temp is at freezing and it's raining, my windows frost up...no matter what the temperature inside is....so i constantly wipe the windows, have one opened so air can circulate...it's tedious trying to get conditions right so s*** will defrost

  19. I hate waking up and every room has that eerie cold filling still. Heater to full blast!!
  20. Mr. Obi James Kenobi?? Obi Wons brother?
  21. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 12:44 PM) Agreed, although Danny Mcbride (the unkillable drug dealer) has some great comedic timing. Him and Will Farrell are in Land of the Lost remake.
  22. QUOTE (knightni @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 12:13 AM) Did they edit future showings of Die Hard? I could have sworn that I saw a scene where the office glass is covered in blood etc. after he gets shot by Hans. There is blood on the office glass after Hans shoots Takagi takagi vid it's in the upper left push replay
  23. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 12:34 AM) Have you seen some of the words they use in the quotes on IMDB? Often times they're not even close. either way i edited my sig....
  24. It's like my favorite movie, and I use that quote a lot with my friends. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 12:00 AM) My Yiddish is a little rusty but I believe it's spelled "bubby" not "booby". Harry Ellis: Hans, Bubi, I'm your white knight! I spelled it how I hear it....IMDB has it as bubi
