  1. QUOTE(SpringfieldFan @ Nov 30, 2005 -> 06:18 PM) I have been listening to ESPN radio this morning and at the 11:00 hour they first said the White Sox had entered the bidding and that KW was confident they could retain him. Just letting you know FWIW SFF Yeah on their updates just now they said he visited the Angels and they offered 5 years 60 million. Jason Starks I believe is reporting the Sox are now stepping up and hope to have him signed by the weekend.
  2. Isnt this just him going through the free agent process like he said he was gonna do or does it mean something else ?
  3. Even this cloose im worried about it being to far for a field goal
  4. If they win this im gonna be shocked since they have tried to hard to lose it
  5. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Nov 27, 2005 -> 03:38 AM) And he and Brady will be National Champions. Next year's team will be the best in many many years if not decades. I can't wait. The schedule looks tough for next year but im not sure whose graduating from the other teams on it.
  6. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Nov 27, 2005 -> 01:30 AM) Second TD of the gmae for Samardzija already. 7:22 into the game. He is a stud. Do you know what the deal with him is ?? Is he gonna get drafted for baseball this year or will he be back for ND next year ??
  7. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Nov 23, 2005 -> 02:51 PM) Sorry, but this is a pet peave of mine. Where did this come from? What is the source? It's frustrating to see what looks like a news excerpt, but could be something pulled off of a fantasy site (as has happened here before) or just about anywhere else. Please cite your sources, folks. Thanks. its from Newsday and they also had it on ESPN Radio
  8. November 23, 2005, 8:13 AM EST The Mets have reached an agreement for a trade to bring Carlos Delgado from the Marlins, Newsday has learned. The trade won't be finalized until medical examinations of the players involved are complete and commissioner Bud Selig signs off on the deal. The Mets have agreed to send righthanded pitching prospect Yusmeiro Petit and young first baseman Mike Jacobs to the Marlins for Delgado, according to someone familiar with the deal. As part of the deal, the Marlins will send $7 million back to the Mets to cover part of the $48 million remaining on Delgado's contract. Delgado does not have veto powers over a trade.
  9. Nice job by that team they were unstoppable from the end of June to now. Edwards did an amazing job for being a rookie and is gonna get himself a championship if he can figure out the flat tracks and short tracks but even while struggling at them he came cloose.
  10. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Nov 17, 2005 -> 11:37 PM) I don't like Donovan for some reason. Even though he's a Chicago guy-doesn't it seem like he's not really any more liked here than elsewhere? I dont like him and I get the feeling his teammates dont either. I never heard any teammates coming out and backing him against T.O. but I do hear all of his teammates saying they want T.O. back.
  11. I just saw Bensons injury and that looked very bad. Is Jones gonna be ready to go for next week ??
  12. I want Grossman in but I cant see them taking out Orton untill he totally sucks for a few games.
  13. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 02:21 PM) Do you feel that T.O. is underpaid? No hes one of the top paid receivers in the league. Also they told him not to sign that contract and he did anyway so its his own dumb fault that hes not happy.
  14. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 03:31 AM) Oh yeah, and Westbrook is pissed off about his contract situation too, and I get the feeling he won't be back with that team next year either. They are cloose to signing Westbrook to an extension according to Comcast. Im sure thats gonna make T.O. even happier when thats all finalized.
  15. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 05:21 PM) I dont watch Eagles games, but after looking at McNabbs numbers I was surprised at how much better they were than what i thought. He doesnt seem to be missing too many WRs Passes Attempted- 288 Passes Completed-170 Completion percentage- 59.0 2034 yards 7.06 yards per completion 15 touchdowns 7 interceptions 87.9 passer rating http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/133361 McNabb is actually having a pretty normal season. If you take out last year, which was fantastic for him, these numbers are right on par with McNabb. AND he is playing with a sports hernia. And to have T.O. talking about how Mcnabb is hurting the team, when T.O. just removed himself from this weeks game, and maybe next weeks game because he just doesnt feel right yet, speaks volumes on who is the team player and who is the "Me" player. T.O. is a b**** I live in PA so im stuck with the Eagles games and as good as the numbers look they should actually be better. He has missed alot of receivers but since they throw so much and alot of them are short high percentage passes it makes it look better. You can just tell by watching him this year compared to last year he isnt as accurate. As for T.O. removing himself from the next two games just note that the next 2 games are nationally televised games for the Eagles. Hes not a doctor so I dont see how he can feel that its gonna take 2 weeks to be ready. T.O. is just putting on his act and probably will play both games. This is just for T.O to show up, when he was good enough to play all along, so everyone talks about him the whole game and how amazing it is he is able to play.
  16. T.O. is right though about Donovan hurting the teams record. Hes so hurt hes missing wide open receivers and Andy Reid keeps on throwing the ball.
  17. Leno. Letterman is terrible.
  18. WGN said Hawk is gonna introduce everyone before they speak
  19. QUOTE(rangercal @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 04:58 PM) I won't make it if it's at 1 can anyone confirm this? Brooks Boyer was on Silvy and Carmen and I believe he said between 2:30 and 3 EDIT: Dan Patrick just said the same thing between 2:30 and 3

  21. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 04:22 PM) He is a really good receiver right now. But I dont think he is ready for our d at this point. We will get burned a couple of times, but we will also lay a nice hit on you every time you touch the ball. Palmer hasnt seen a pash rush like ours yet, and hasnt had anyone blitz from the angles like we do. Harrington had no trouble sitting in the pocket against Green Bay, but when it came to our scheme, he didnt know who was coming from where. Seems like he understands its gonna be a challenge at least “It’s much respect, seriously,” Johnson said. “I never even talk like this, but man film does not lie, therefore 85 is going to keep his mouth shut this week.” “It motivates me to play at a higher level when we play defenses like we’re getting to face this weekend,” Johnson said. “And right now from watching them on field they are the best defense I’ve seen because of the way they play. “Everything that I do, everything that we do offensively has to be sound and perfect.”
