The thing about Kyle is that he's been saying all along he wanted to go to college. I know his brother (Chris) told him he should go to college and get the experience and he really took that to heart. He came to a bunch of games this season as well (I guess its easy to travel with a famous Dad and brother). Like you guys said, he doesn't need the money. I'm sure if he was drafted in the top 5 rounds it'd be different.

Kyle Long will be in Tallahassee today and will be taking Summer C classes which start Monday.

Figures there is a rain delay, I'm waiting for this game to end before I make a 4 hour drive.

I did see how GF has no pitching match-up for tonight though. Double edit: I don't even see him on the roster their anymore. He was yesterday with no number.

Holy s***, what a game. That was fun to watch. Rice's SS pulled a Tony Delmonico and the next batter delivered with a 3 run double off the wall (inches from a walkoff GS).

Anyone got any PS3 game recommendations? I traded in Xbox360 and a whole bunch of other stuff so I was able to buy the system, MGS4, and pre-ordered and payed off NCAA09 and Madden 20th Year Edition with the credit I got (too bad I couldn't get NHL payed off). I don't know if I'll get anything because I have MGS4 now and I'll be pretty set come July 15th, but I could use some advice. Anyone play Lego Star Wars? Orange Box?

I think I'm going to buy a PS3 tomorrow and trade in my Xbox360. I really want MGS4 and I'm just waiting for my Xbox to explode and die. I don't play Halo anymore. I hate Gears of War. Sports games come out on both systems. I love Metal Gear (played 4 and love it). I love Final Fantasy.

GG zen. The better team won without a doubt. Its awfully hard to win when you get 13 hits and only score 2, strand 15 runners, and play some s***ty D (not so much today, but still hurt us overall). I knew this was coming, but didn't want to admit it...at least we kept up the good FSU tradition! 0-2 and BBQ.

Besides sucking in Omaha, FSU just won their 3rd straight track championship. At least one team knows how to win. Hopefully we'll see Walter Dix in the Olympics for the 200m and 100m in a couple of months.

There's no way we sign Long. He wants to come to college and I highly doubt he'd sign unless we gave him a s***load of money. Secondly, Kenny Williams Jr. sorta sucks. 0-1 K, BB. He got pinch hit for in the 7th (I think it was the 7th). He is also credited with throwing a bat at his coaches after he took ball 4 (It was an accident, but hillarious.) He flung that thing right at them like he ment too, itwas interesting. Does have some good speed though.

More on Strauss. Last season he got bumped out of the rotation and got drafted late. He came back for his Sr season as a midweek guy. As the season went on he got himself into the rotation where he did really good. He also has been used out of the pen. I would expect him to project as a reliever, but wouldn't be surprised to see him get starts in the minors. He has a very good fastball, 90-93 mph, tops out at 95. He also usually has very good control.
