  1. I got back a couple hours ago. I had fun. But the autograph lines winding all over the place on the lower level was pretty frustrating. And unfortunately for me, I kept have encounters with cranky people. I didn't make it into the opening ceremony either, but I didn't get there too early because of work, so I'm not going to complain. I spent most of my time in the seminar room though and I enjoyed that. It was a good weekend. And hopefully next year at the Palmer House, there will be more room for everything.
  2. I went to check out this site and I decided to look at DC to see what they had from GW. So I looked at the pictures from in front of my dorm and the next thing I knew I'm looking at a picture of the dorm with my roommate and I walking in front of it. I was shocked! Here's a copy of the picture. I'm the one in blue. My roomie is in front of me.
  3. Happy Birthday!
  4. I'll be there all three days for the second year in a row. I'm thinking we'll probably be in the seminar room more this year since we pretty much got all the autographs we wanted last year. If I recognize any of y'all, I'll try and come up and say hi. And if you recognize me, feel free to say hi.
  5. DC has a city income tax. When at school, I worked on campus and had to fill out a DC tax form.

Want to know what's weird? The fact that a year ago the exact same thing happened. On January 1, 2005, it t-stormed. I remember because my area lost power.
  7. I got a World Series t-shirt, a world series hoodie, the Monopoly game, and a Konerko Jersey.

Ugh, jealous of you all. I still have one more final and it's not until 5:20. Seriously though, congrats to everyone who is done and enjoying break already. I can't complain too much since this is my last final ever. Yay for early graduation!

Ah well, Tony's not alone. I still have one more left.
  10. So sad. I just loved him as an actor. And he was one of my favorite characters on the West Wing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

First final is in 2 hours and I'm currently at the "I don't care anymore, just give me the test" stage.

Right, so haven't started finals yet. Have my first one tomorrow for Persuasion. It's the final from hell btw, 3 hours long because my prof is a dick and a half. Then I have one Thursday morning - Social Psychology. Last one is US Diplomatic History on Monday night. Then I will be spending the rest of the night getting drunk and celebrating the end of finals and the end of my time as an undergrad at GWU.
  13. Happy Birthday!! Have a great one!
  14. Well, I guess I know what I'll be doing on the 28th.
  15. Scary stuff. So sad about the little boy. I first heard about this when I was watching TV tonight with my friends. Since I heard about it, I've been thinking about how I'll be landing at Midway in about 11 days. Although, usually, the landing doesn't freak me out. Of course, I'm on at least 7 roundtrips in and out of Midway a year, so I'm used to it. Actually, landing at National Airport freaks me out more since until right before the wheels hit the ground the only thing below the plane is the Potomac.
