Post your questions for Neal Cotts!
Do you feel that you have a different mindset when pitching out of the bullpen compared to being a starter?

How many games did you go to?
I didn't go to any but that's because I was on vacation for the first two games and had to work the day of the third one. I probably would have gone to one if I could have.

Mienkiewicz
Seriously?? Hmm...I hate Mientkiewicz...I think he's a jerk...but that's my opinion and maybe he can play the game well, but I really don't think he has very much respect for people other than himself and his team.

5/11 Game Thread
I was in the bleachers too, Sec 163. I was there when they started dragging people out, so eventually we were like that's it and we got security to take us to new seats in section 105. Stupid drunken fratboys! Oh well, it was still a fun game. It was my first game of the season and I left happy.

Worst Baseball Experience
I was at a White Sox game in Kansas City last September, and at the end of the first inning Carlos Lee tossed me the ball. I stuck the ball in the pocket of my hoodie, and on the walk back to the hotel, I had to climb up this big hill and the ball fell out of my pocket. I didn't realize it was gone until I was back at the hotel, and by then it was too late.

Bill Clinton coulda had Bin Laden
I know you two sort of have this little debate going on right now, but I really hope you don't mind me jumping in here. It's easy to play the presidential blame game now, but to be honest, looking at Iraq, I believe that if Bush or Clinton were to have tried to have done something to Bin Laden, it would have taken a very long time for it happen. The GOP would have been all over Clinton and the Democrats would have been all over Bush demanding more evidence that he was a huge threat to the US. And I just don't think that either president would have been able to do anything to him because the country would have been against it and it would have been a long battle. You may say to me that Bin Laden and Saddam are different, but honestly, how many people knew who Bin Laden was before 9/11?

Pat Tillman.........Hero?
He's a hero just like everyone else in the miilitary and everyone that risks their lives for someone else. Is it unfair that Tillman is getting more coverage than all the hundreds of others killed? Maybe. But you know what, I look at his coverage as a tribute to everyone serving their country. Because of him, the media is covering his death...the media is reminding people that there are still people dying...the people aren't just nobodys, they're our heroes...the media coverage is reminding all of us to remember that there is still fighting and that we shouldn't forget that people are still dying to help us...So in that view, I hope the coverage never stops.

Kerry Slammed by his peers.
I agree with both of you. The media doesn't help by focusing on Bush's military record and ignoring Kerry's. I don't want to go off on a tangent saying I think there's a media bias cause I don't think there is one. The media just chooses to focus on certain stories and will screw either side at some point. Anyway, I'm going to join in and say :fyou Kerry

Who gets sent down?
I say Kelly. Especially after tonight, he hasn't really shown that he's going to do really benefit the team. He needs more time in Charlotte, IMO. Burke hasn't had a chance to show anything yet. But since he really isn't needed, I agree with ChiSox, that I won't be surprised if he goes.

What are you happy about?
- Only 2 days and 2 finals away from the end of school - Today's my last day of working in the admissions office until fall - Going to the Sox game in a week - Sox are in First - Going to Florida in 8 days - Going to Louisville in 3 weeks and going to my first horse race - Friday is the last day I have to live in this dorm - Living at the best dorm on campus next year - After this one, I only have 3 semesters of undergrad left

Finals Week?
Two finals on Thursday and then I am done for the semester. I'll still have a paper to write for my independent study but that's not due till September so who cares. All I know is that in 8 days I will be at my first Sox game of the season.

Koch is no longer the closer...please
Yesterday Koch was great at getting the save and most people were excited and saying how maybe the Billy we traded for came back. Then he comes and has a bad inning and now you're complaining. Honestly, it's been a while since he had this bad of an inning...and you know what, we still won. He's doing better now than we was, so I say leave him as a closer. Don't freak out right away and pull him from the role it just makes matters worse.
