Which game am I thinking of, didn't Koch blow a 6-4 game for a 12-6 loss in the first series.

Schoenwise has a pretty high ERA but he's better than any 5th starter we've got and can eat up some innings in the bullpen. I was looking up his stats and Schoenweis hasn't gone more than 2 and 2 thirds this year so I'm not sure he'd be a 5th starter. Anyways he's still but up some good numbers in relief. He was used as a starter for some time last year and didnt pitch all that well. He has decent stuff and has always said that he wants to start but have never gotten the chance with the Angels. Scot Shields would be a much better pickup but I guess Shoenwise would come cheap and could fill in.

I love Crede and I'm far from giving up on him. Hes an awesome third baseman and showed traces of what he can do last year. But I would do Williamson and Boone for Crede and a prospect simply because we'll be getting two proven guys that would help us this year and for years to come. Williamson would be our closer and provide a huge boost to our bullpen. Boone was an All-Star and has a ton of talent also. The only setback is that we're playing great baseball right now and I'm not sure I wanna hurt the chemistry during this great run. Remember what that Alomar-Everett deal did to us at first?

Absolutely. I feel like we have a good chance to win everyday with those 4 guys out there.

Heres a fact that I know everyone would like to hear: The rotation of Mark Buehrle, Bartolo Colon, Jon Garland and Esteban Loaiza leads the American League in quality starts with 63.

I wouldnt look into those stats too much. Its coincidence most of the time, like our starting pitcher pitches a bad game while we score alotta runs, but we still lose the game.

Do you think the Expos would actually want Konerko for Livan? You're under-estimating his value and over-estimating Konerko's. They wouldn't dump salary, and they're getting someone thats possibly injured and not performing. Livan is still a good starter and many teams like his experience. imo they would much rather have a couple of good AA prospects.

Thats what I thought, the other team pays the entire contract. That way we should just wait for waiver-time to pull off a deal, and maybe someone would be dumb enough to claim him.

It'll sure be nice to watch Cotts pitch against the M's but hes not ready. I really dont think one start in the majors will hurt him but you never know these days, I'd rather have Wright up here ready to prove himself again.

I'll be more than happy with an average pitcher. We're talking about a guy thats a 5th starter, who will only have a few starts left. Suppan is a number 2 or 3 guy on most staffs, and he doesnt have a big salary, I think he'd be a perfect fit. The problem is, KW will most likely give up too much to get him. I still say bring up Stewart.

No thanx, I hate that guy's attitude and he pisses me off for some reason. I'd much rather have Vazquez, but I heard hes untouchable at this point.

I think the best thing that we could do if Koch doesnt turn it around is wait after the trading deadline to make a trade. That way if he doesnt clear waivers, we could just let him go and send his ass and his salary to another team.
