I agree. With the way Minnesota has played, it's a shame that they should even be mentioned to be contracted. I wouldn't contract Tampa Bay either, they have a bright future with Pinella at the helm. If they can get out of Tropicana and some of those prospects work out for them, they can be in contention in a couple of years.

I think the baseball postseason is already longer than it needs to be. The one team that should be contracted is the Marlins. Their management changes plans from year to year and has no clue what they're doing. I'm strongly in favor of the wild card and interleague play. That's the only two smart things Selig has done. I don't see a salary cap happening in the near future.
