Wunsch gives up his first earned run, Koch comes in to pitch with two outs and man on second and gets Hunter out.
Lee, Rios, Konerko due up in the 9th. It'll take nothing short of a miracle.
Jon Garland definately did his job today, our offense nowhere to be found.
Its not official yet, right? The one good thing about suspensions to pitchers is that they technically only miss 1 start, and they can make up for it right after their suspension ends.
spoken by someone whose large butt will never be checked out by anyone except as a possible helicopter landing pad or for use as pitcher's mound
Is that a challenge?
I have no problem with Kobe, he's a very talented player and actually one of my favorite. The problem is Shaq, who has ZERO talent and just succeeds because hes big and tall and fat. He alone makes me despise the Lakers and everything they do. Shaq is just a big tub of goo in purple uniform. :fyou
I completely disagree. Look at Schilling and Johnson, their catcher Damian Miller was traded to the Cubs, and they both had very poor starts. Schilling and Johnson both b****ed about Miller and how they weren't on the same page. But now Miller is gone bringing his veteran gamecalling with him to the Cubs and handling them real well.
I'm not sure if with Mark Johnson gone, its affecting Buerhles game. But catchers' game-calling is underrated. Of course the pitcher has their good stuff, but the catcher knows what pitches to throw in certain situations and thats priceless.
Preach it
If a player f***s up a simple popup or makes lazy plays, true, he should be benched. But when a player has proven himself in the past and is just in a little slump, you stick with him. If every player would be benched when they're in a slump, no one would be playing. JM needs to stick with his players and trust them to do their job.
He will not be close to .500 in 03
You wanna bet? And we do not need to dump his ass in the garbage can, he's just having a bad start. Lay off on Mark will ya? Where would we have been without him for the last couple of years. Geez..
Leave Crede out there and he will be fine. Hes still hitting around .230, thats not that bad for a guy thats been in a season-long slump. THe sox need to show confidence in their players, the same with Buerhle.
