  1. What an amazing catch by Curtis Granderson!
  2. **Spoiler** Rumor has it that : Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar is being set up for Survivor Series. I'm OK with this. Use Lesnar vs. someone who doesn't need to get buried.
  3. Welp, I acquired my 8 championship titles this year. That's my quota.
  4. So we have Bumgarner vs. Syndergaard coming up at 7pm CST. Wild card, do or die. The stronger team is clearly the Giants. In a one game playoff anything can happen, especially with Noah Syndergaard on the mound for the Mets at home. I'm kind of rooting for the Giants as they have the whole even year world series thing going on, it would make for an interesting story vs the cubs. I don't think the mets have any chance vs the cubs. Let's just hope that no fan throws something at an outfielder trying to catch the ball this wild card game.
  5. Meh, it's not really relevant towards the W'sox --> it's just a first pitch.
  6. Welp, Ubaldo is in before Britton, so we know the way Buck is going.
  7. Interesting choice not to bring in Britton. I guess I agree with it, what can you do... you need someone to close out the game.
  8. Announcers going hard on the fan. I'm surprised that they are actually giving it this much attention / air time.
  9. Damn, does that happen often? (fan throwing something at player when player is about to catch a ball) That's insane.
  10. Can't wait tonight! Should be a good game.
  11. A good, tough matchup all around here. Rangers should handle it and move on.
  12. Both teams are no match for the cubs. Cubs sweep.
  13. Indeed, to each their own. I know I will be loving the GSW games when Curry is hitting three pointers from nearly half court and all the defense is on Durant! That offense has a chance to be historic.
  14. Really enjoying the storylines in the NBA this year. Durant going to the unstoppable Warriors, will they succeed? Such an amazingly fun team to watch. The legacy of LeBron James continues. The Chicago Bulls have a new look roster, what can we expect? I expect great things (by great, I mean playoff bound). The NY Knicks have a crazy team. Noah / Rose / Carmello / Porz is an interesting squad to say the least. Is it the Boston Celtics time again? What a roster they have put together. So many young players as well. What will the 76ers do with all the talent in the world and no experience/playing time. They need to make a deal or two? The LA Lakers after Kobe Bryant, will Russell take the next big step? Where's Rudy Gay going? Spurs continue their boring greatness with Gasol / Kawhi / LMA / Parker, etc.
  15. Man, the Cishek screw up in the 8th was brutal to watch. Depressing!
  16. So the Rockies have been resting D.J. Lemanhieu (sp?) to gain him the battle title for the NL. Currently has .001 batting average lead over the injured Daniel Murphy. Interesting.
  17. As I write this, Mariners are down by 3 in the fifth, not looking good. Looks like it will be Toronto and Baltimore in the wild card.
  18. Let's go Seattle! Lotse Toronto and Detroit!
  19. Knight, it's likely due to him not being on the actual DL in real life. They only place players on the DL once they've been placed on DL in real life. My guess is that due to the expanded rosters, WAS hasn't taking too much care to put him on the DL.
  20. I am All FOR meaningful games on Sunday
  21. I agree that a major difference (good difference) is the 2 hour time frame. It's already sad how they fill 3 hours with jobber matches 2-3 times a night.
  22. I agree that Miz has become really really good. Miz, Aj Styles are both fantastic on smackdown. Ambrose is now bearable, and Cena I actually like in his current role.
  23. Overall, very happy with the Raw PPV so far. The matches have all been excellent, although filled with some sloopiness/botches. As I say this, Jericho wins over Zayn. I hear they are going for the 'underdog' approach for Zayn, meh, hope it works. Jericho is insanely interesting right now. The one thing I will complain about is the lack of stipulation matches. I understand it is PG era, but every match feels like the same setting: Do some dives outside, hit some finishers, than cycle to the end.
  24. Questionable booking for Sheamus vs. Cesaro. Was a fantastic match and then the two opponents either hurt themselves too much in reality, or (more likely) it was planned out to be a stoppage and no winner. Should of been match of night, now likely great match with an asterisk.
