  1. Could be a big day for Bullet Club with AJ STyles, Gallows& Anderson, and Finn wins. I think Gallows and Anderson are ripe for Tag Team Championships now with New day being down a member, it's time for a title change.
  2. As far as Charlotte vs. Sasha outcome, I am okay with this. I was okay with having either women winning. The women's division is ripe with great competitors. Just waiting for Bayley to come in and complete the women's revolution .
  3. Just wanted to pipe in somewhere that the decision to have Aj Styles go over Cena cleanly in a great match at SS 2016 was excellent. There were many times during the match where I said "oh f***, here's the end for AJ", most notably when he went for the forearm punch at the end ( I thought he'd jump right into a cena finisher move). Excellent decision and I will give WWE that credit! To put AJ over cena 2-0 in 1on1's is a very smart move for both AJ and Cena. Now AJ can move on to Championship, and Cena can continue to have high level fights that get the crowd going. With that being said, the problem with these matches is they are much too finisher heavy. Great match, but the pattern is too basic these days.
  4. Guys, I hate to say I told you so, but I did. 125 wins is on the horizon.
  5. It's amazing what inputting someone with talent and mystique can do for the main event scene. I still am not enjoying it as much as I could be... because, well, it's Reigns... but the ending tonight with the tweening between heel and babyface from both characters was awesome. The story being told is nice. It's too bad that in the modern era, stories like this usually end with something really childish.... But, good main event on Raw tonight. Although the entirety of Raw was kind of slow and average.
  6. Cubs might win 125 games this season, they are that good.
  7. I just want to point out the success of making the IC title more important. It is... starting... to feel like a legit title again. Still needs consistency and time, but there is a great mid card developing here.
  8. Danks has been announced as Wednesday's starter against the Red Sox. Vegas odds for a White Sox win are less than being struck by lightning . They do improve dramatically however, if Danks is the one struck... but only if it happens before the first inning.
  9. Orioles announcers are like: "How is that not interference? He basically did everything against the new rule." lolol
  10. We sucked that inning and got 2 runs. Thanks Baltimore.
  11. So, Payback in Chicago is tomorrow. Just some thoughts from someone who is following wrestling as a way to delay studying for my finals: WWE is claiming that this PPV is the 'first PPV of the new era'. I can only assume that they are referring to a PG-style era of new bloods running through the WWE (styles, Owens, Nakamaru, the tag teams, bullet club, etc etc). Cool. Hopefully something can come from it, like a new megastar in Styles or Owens becomming the greatest heel champion in some time, but I'm not holding my breath. We know the Chicago crowd will be great, Let's get to the PPV: - Roman Reigns vs. AJ Styles for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ah, A+ for WWE putting someone new into the title scene (Styles). A world class wrestler. Reigns is still...here... and he's cutting terrible promo's. The interesting thing with this match will be how the bullet club and co. play out. I hear Balor is ready to make his debut at Payback and I'm sure it would have something to do with this match, if that's the case. Prediction: Reigns will keep the title via disqualification. I don't know who get's DQ'd, but likely due to run-ins we will see no title change. They can't possibly take the title off Reigns after building him up for so long. - Vince McMahon will announce who has control of RAW going forward My god, what a botch of a storyline. 100% awful, grade A+ bulls***. We all should rightfully be ashamed to bear witness to this storyline. So we have Vince who disowns his son, puts him into hell in front of the 'Taker, his son loses, and then gives him the show anyway. Later, he now has to assign the company to one of them. The best result, the only hope of salvaging anything?: Brand split. Likely to happen: A way to keep this storyline going into the summer for a payoff at Summer slam of sorts. (HHH vs Shane?) - Charlotte (w/ Ric Flair) vs. Natalya (w/ Bret Hart) for the WWE Women’s Championship Charlotte wins in a good match. - Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens Woohoo, great match time and should be a lasting feud. This is how the WWE should book things! I have Zayn winning in a roll up sort of way to make Owens mad and continue the feud, - The Miz vs. Cesaro for the WWE Intercontinental Championship Miz wins with Maryse help. - Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho Another fresh, interesting match. Ambrose should win as he needs to do something other than lose every match. - Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin Corbin wins in what should be a squash. - Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady vs. The Vaudevillains to become No. 1 contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championship Cool tag team tournament, I approve! I also approve of this as a PPV match, making it feel more important. I want Amore and Cass to win, I think Vaudevillains win. - Kalisto vs. Ryback for the U.S. Championship (Kickoff Show match) Ryback likely wins? Who cares?
  12. Great life decision from Dee. Got paid big bucks due to this, won some batting titles, congrats! Way to beat the stupid ass system.
  13. Come on yall, that's not a bad comment, he's justifiably upset that his team isn't hitting like it should. If the Sox got shut out twice in a row, and were in the midst of a really terrible start, I'd want players to show emotion like that in a respectful way. Take a step back .
  14. Really impressive start to the season, as mentioned already, but it really does continue to impress me. I haven't been able to watch games as I finish up my semester, but I observe box scores. The law of averages dictates that the hitting has to heat up, and tonight was a good showing of it. Happy all around!
  15. A couple more starts like this from Latos and Latos has already done well for the year!
  16. GO SOX BIG TIME SHUTDOWN TIME NOW BIG TIME BOBERTSON OWN THEM OK
  17. I think you would have lost that trade had it not been for the votto addition. Adding Votto makes this trade a killing for you. Nice going.
  18. Know I said I wouldn't post in this thread anymore, but have had an observation based on my WWE 2k14 experience. Roman Reigns has actually made me appreciate John Cena. At least with Cena, Cena is amazing on the microphone, cutting promos, and has a bit of a flashy in ring work. When Cena's music plays I get hyped. With Reigns, everything is dull and death and boring.
