  1. Some notes... Greg Bird is back in the line up for the Yankees tonight. A powerhouse 1b added to an already league-leading offensive line up. Ow. Alex Reyes is making his first MLB start of the year this Wednesday vs. the Brewers. He's absolutely killed it in his rehab stint. I mean, KILLED it. stats are insane. Why is the NL so much more competitive than the AL? In the AL we have: AL West (Astros, Angels), AL Central (Indians, and then probably twins for second WC), AL East (Yankees, Red sox) and no other teams really have a chance. In the NL we have: NL West ( Diamondbacks, Dodgers, and Rockies all fighting), NL Central feels like the entire division is fighting, NL East also the entire division is fighting sans Marlins.
  2. In retrospect, the cubs moves look absolutely horrible. They've lost Eloy, Cease, Jorge Soler, Candelario, Gleyber Torres ++? Just badddd trades. Torres is a star, Soler and Candelario are really learning how to hit and we all know about Eloy and Cease.
  3. Love the thought process going on in this thread. Rockies *Should* most definitely look Jose Abreu's way. We should be asking for quite a lot in return and they have a laundry list of nice prospects. To be quite frank, I'm not sure why it hasn't happened already.
  4. There's nothing wrong with my statement. Good fantasy basketball players can be helpful to winning championships. Did you take logic 101 or Introduction to Mathematic Proofs in college? If not, you should consider it, it might help your life.
  5. Unfortunately, your reading comprehension has failed you. I merely mentioned that the celtics have a deep roster and provided a few names that are relevant from my playing time in fantasy basketball this season. Good fantasy basketball players can be helpful to winning championships.
  6. It's a bit too complex for plebs to understand, but I am an avid fantasy basketball fan as it is the easiest sport to win fantasy leagues in because basketball fans are amongst the most basic people. It's easy money.
  7. That's the area where I would target. Dahl or McMahon. The Rockies don't seem to know how to use their prospects and are a great fit for Abreu. Abreu is a .300 hitter with 30 HR potential and 100+ RBI's.
  8. So you wouldn't trade him for a top prospect in the game? Maybe not as impactful as Eloy or Moncada, but just underneath? Then you are wrong.
  9. I think the general consensus is pretty straight forward... You only trade him if you can get a game changing prospect or a pair of really good prospects. Jose is very valuable to our team and could help us in our future productive years, but if we can get another top prospect for him we do it. IF the market dictates that, then we trade him happily.
  10. That's just flat wrong. Lebron + NO supporting cast Celtics - 2 of their superstars still have one of the deepest rosters in the league. Maybe you are unaware who Rozier / Jaylen Brown / Tatum is? Play fantasy basketball, you'll understand.
  11. Jesus. This team just went from Laughable to... i don't even know what.
  12. I watched the final 2 minutes of the game as the final 2 minutes of highly competitive close NBA games are usually fun, but that happens rarely. NBA is boring af and is for normies and basic people. Baseball is the true sport to watch.
  13. I'm with Jack, but I also understand how the NBA has made the simple-minded folk of the world into player-worshipping ratings... The NBA is a jokeeee. But a good game tonight between HOU and GSW
  14. Juan Soto is GOAT (Greatest of ALL time)
  15. Lol at Hawk talking about getting too much into analytics. Guy is an idiot.
  16. A reminder that we have a PTC thread going on : Why does Moncada bat so low.. grrr
  17. Someone has to tell Renteria to stop batting Moncada 6th.
  18. Well, I was spot on... Gio got the QS and was lucky and didn't look good!
