If you could make any one change to the 2004 Chicago White Sox, what would it be?

Atta boy spiff. And i will b**** at u witesox. If willie moved to center, I would want Reed to replace him everday. And WOW brando, chavez is too reckless? he's one of the best 3 baggers in the game. Crede has already shown some really solid plays and is still maturing and has potential for a greaet career at third.

As reading through these posts, I had thought that maybe this was why and then you said it. IF, which is unlikely because i heard that ozzie wants to keep cotts in the bullpen, but IF we put cotts into the rotation, maybe we can put munoz into the bullpen and who knows what will happen from then on. If he had one bad month last year, and is pitching the way he is now for a couple more weeks, then i would like to seem in the big leauges.

thank you aboz WATCH THE GAME!!! crede is not an overrated 3 bagger and makes excellent defensive plays. Also, crede is still learning and still a better fielder EASILY than jose!!!

jose can play third...i guess it is a possibility if crede gets into a slump but the glove by crede is too good to take away and replace with manos

It is bad karma. After the first couple of games i told my friends that they would never get shut out. THAT NIGHT, they got shut out. game by game...

To add on to this story, I have a lot of "friends" that are diehard cubs fans and one of them not only likes comiskey more than wrigley but also said to me that the only thing he cares about the white sox is hawk and dj. I also love the hawkisms and do love that he is bias because it feels like he's going through exactly what we are by watching at home. When another guy hits a homer and he says 1-0 ballgame, I'm thinking to myself "1-0 ballgame". He gets excited when we get excited and pissed when we get pissed. and i agree with brando about the great stories and knowledge and False Alarm with merits to both sides. Let Hawk be, he's not going to change for anyone because he grew up in a different era and i love the way he is.

Usually, teams go through one slump a year and then bounce back and put together a nice season...hopefully this is the slump and thankfully its early as opposed later

I heard that ozzie already said cotts is staying in the pen. I hope our eventual 5th starter comes via trade but thats in the future. If this diaz kid is for real and rauch and wright aren't pitching lights out and i mean LIGHTS OUT in the minors, then bring up diaz

I agree something needs to be done and it obviously needs to be done with the offense right now. If we don't take a convincing 2 of 3 from baltimore at least then it will be a disappointment. As for changes...I agree with benching Konerko until he starts getting some damn hits. He started the year off so greatly and now he can't even see the ball. And Gload seems like a great player and a solid player that needs to play! I don't agree with crede because of his clutch hits and his glove is fantastic...as for Rowand, I hope he continues to have some problems and we make a fast decision and bring up Reed to get another lefty in the order. Who wouldn't want reed over rowand??

you said it buddy. and willie is hitting .278 with his 2-4 performance today. but in my opinion i would want reed in center over willie so we can put him at 2B and use jose and carlos to get a pitcher...unless carlos starts hitting

uribe is young, and as you said it was his first year. jose is a veteran and putting up those numbers. i agree with carlos being shipped out because we can fill his shoes. but I disagree with putting willie in center. that would be stupid when we have a player in the minors that could easily take his place. i like willies speed and he seems to be hitting. and i also think more teams would want jose. either way...GET ME PITCHING go WHITE SOX!!

as i've been saying in other posts...we need a pitcher...so i wouldn't mind trading valentin for a pitcher if it was necessary, would anyone else??

so he's a little bias against one thing...let it go...you gotta love hawk for everything he does. as i said the knowledge is fantastic, along with the stories and just the way him and DJ break things down and his love for the sox all twist into a great announcer

how can you say that we can't replace jose? his replacement is currently batting .370... and flashing leather like a french model coming out of louis vuitton
