They are gonna try him as their closer with mota setting him up. That is a good move because i do not think mota would do well in the closers role.

If he does not retire i would be all for it.

The last month he only pitched 13 innings, and over the final two months when he was soley in the pen he never pitched more than 1.2 innings per outing.

Why, if he would actually come in to platoon here that would be excellent. He is pretty damn good against lefties it seems.,

3.73 era with the yankees and a 2.46 era in minimal innings with the padres, 36.2 innings. That sucks. :headshake

I doubt he will platoon with anyone, especially willie harris. From what i have heard he is looking for a starting job, somewhere, anywhere.

You are joking right? He is one of the more solid relievers on the market and for very cheap.

Now we seriously need to start looking at osuna. He only made 750,000 thousadn last year. I do not see him making that much more this year. Maybe sign him for a one year deal with an option for the second year?

Lieber has had more than one decent to good year in his career, wright has not done so.

I believe kline will be a yankee, but anyway imagine if the sox did sign kline some how. We would have two of the top five left handed relievers in all of baseball.
