  1. He had one year were he had a 1.51 g/f ratio which is pretty much in the middle of the road. His 1.08 career g/f ratio scares the s*** out of me because anything hit in the air here seems like it can go.
  2. He is also to severe of a fly ball pitcher and that does not bode well for our field.
  3. I could give a s*** less if he goes to the cubs. Anyways welcome to soxtalk.
  4. Carl Pavano has cancelled his trip to Anaheim in order to return home and begin his offseason workouts. Agent Scott Shapiro still plans to meet with Anaheim, but it doesn't look like the Angels are serious contenders in the bidding. Pavano has received or is likely to receive offers from the Marlins, Red Sox, Orioles, Yankees, Tigers and Mariners. The Phillies also made a bid, but that's probably off the table now that they have Jon Lieber. From rotoworld.
  5. If signed a minor league contract other wise no thank you.
  6. :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke
  7. Since they can buy him out for 1.15 million they have to ask themselves if he is worth 4.85 million or not. That is how i take it.
  8. How the f*** do i do this sometimes? :headshake
  9. Reggie had a game against the knicks a while back that was as good if not better. I do not know the specific game though.
  10. Ya, when he gets back i expect him to be pretty rusty also. But his obp will still be around .380 since he will always have an excellent eye. Those numbers you projected look very likely. But i am sure you also hope you are wrong.
  11. That would be one terrible trade. :headshake
  12. Wilkerson, i wish, but polanco as a free agent pick-up.
  13. I figure about a month, month and a half frank will be out. How long do you figure he will be out?
  14. Borchard will be in triple a so we will only have five.
  15. You think he is gonna be filling in that much? Just seems like quite a bit for a bench player, but he is making 4 million so i guess it is possible.
  16. Well he is not a lead-off hitter imo. He does not get on base nearly enough. So i do not really think we have a use for him. He is better off as an 8th or 9th place hitter.
  17. He will not have enough playing time to hit 20-30 homeruns unless he gets extremely hot.
  18. Sanchez is gonna get non-tendered. 80% chance of that anyway.
  19. He could have platooned with willie because he can actually hit lefties. He might have also been able to help willie with stealing bases.
  20. Do you even know what ops is without looking it up?
  21. I agree with you i would prefer a guy that does not strikeout much but it is not the end of the world if they do.
  22. Two signings in two days, settle down.
  23. Six rings, best player of all time. But we should not live in the past right?
