  1. Thank you Tribe! Now let's hope for a White Sox winner!
  2. There's only one way that I can describe the Twins bullpen: Incredible. Seems like every single guy in there has an ERA under 3.
  3. Casey Blake grounds out. Belliard still at 2nd with 2 outs.
  4. Victor Martinez with a leadoff walk.
  5. For a moment there I thought the Twins had this one...

  7. Worst.Thread.Ever. If I were a mod I would have locked this thread a long time ago. The thread title says it all.
  8. Its happened to me several times, but luckily I always have a spare key in the backyard of my house.
  9. Happy Birthday, ChiSoxyGirl!!! Here's hoping you have a good one...

Talking about changes... I viewed ANH right after Revenge of the Sith and carefully paid attention to what Obi-Wan and Vader said when they faced each other again. That scene is very meaningful and all, but what would you say if Lucas were to re-do it? A little more dialogue wouldn’t hurt, would it? A good example of making a re-do of that scene is this line... “When I left you I was just a learner..." it should be more like “When you left me...”
  11. The two most annoying “fans” going at it... :rolly

    Mow your own lawn?

Sadly, I don’t mow my own grass, but I do mow my neighbor's grass for the reason that I get paid for doing so.
  13. Thanks everybody! I’ve had a nice day so far. My little league team improved to 5-0, our pitcher threw a no hitter and I hit a triple (went 1 for 2). After that our coach took us to Dairy Queen for some desert. Nothing amazing and cool happened, but I'd probably have a heart attack if it did. I appreciate the responses that you have all passed my way. My family is taking me to a restaurant shortly, so while I’m away I hope to hear that the Sox are winning. ... and Will (soxin’) I am almost done with my driving classes, so yes, I am close to getting my permit.
  14. For the weekend (May 20-22)... 1.) Star Wars: ROTS $108,500,000 2.) Monster-in-Law $14,350,000 3.) Kicking and Screaming $10,531,000 4.) Crash $5,500,000 5.) Unleashed $3,841,000 Legions of George Lucas fans lined up and drove the much-anticipated Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith to the top of the North American charts shattering all kinds of box office records in the process and giving the film industry the jolt that was sorely needed. The final installment in the six-part sci-fi epic grossed a record estimate of $158.5M over its four-day Thursday-to-Sunday opening weekend domestically and set a new global milestone debuting with a towering $303.2M worldwide since its Wednesday launch in certain territories.
  15. Is that like Turnbow's second blown save?

It really was kind of bad. You know what scene got the audience laughing? When Yoda takes care of the Emperor's guards with just a single push of the force. That was FANTASTIC!
  17. I blame this s*** on Ozzie. Why not use Cotts? The Cubs did not see him through out the whole series. The Cubs have seen him (Luis Vizcaino) plenty of times when he was with Milwaukee and recently on Friday. Viz has struggled since that outing with Cleveland, but that excuse has been used plenty of times. It's time for Luis to get his head out of his ass...
  18. Spectacular performance by McCarthy... too bad Vizcaino threw a f***ing beach ball right at the heart of the plate, otherwise Bmac would have his first W of his career.
  19. Pierre has a .263 AVG right now. That’s the lowest batting average I’ve seen him have. I’m not saying he’ll keep it that way the rest of the season, but I much rather have PODS right now.

    Star Wars

Saw it last night and I was absolutely speechless when the movie was over. I definitely believe this one is as good as A New Hope. I’ll list my rankings for all of the Star Wars movies later, but first I want to talk about the actual movie. Sorry, but I just can’t help it... **SPOILERS** I’m not going to talk about every scene, but I definitely want to talk about the transformation of Anakin into Vader. The scene where Obi-Wan confronts Anakin was magnificent. As a big Star Wars fan, I knew that Obi-Wan would kick Anakin’s ass, but I had absolutely no idea that he would just leave Anakin there like a helpless dog begging for attention. That really struck me. Another that left me speechless was the scene where Sidious commands all of the clone troopers to start attacking all of the Jedi. I heard at least 5 people in the theater room say “Oh s***...” cause they knew what was coming. Oh, and how about the scene where the little, helpless, young jedi student asks Anakin “What are we going to do?” and Anakin’s punk ass whips out his lightsaber. MERCY... **END OF SPOILERS** With all of that being said, I think Lucas ended the Trilogy well. Yes, we all knew what was going to happen in Ep. III, but it is still worth watching. Rankings of Star Wars films: Empire Strikes Back A New Hope Revenge of the Sith Return of the Jedi Attack of the Clones Phantom Menace
  21. Let's go Brandon!!! Watch him strike out like 16 batters...
  22. HELL YEAH!!! Just came from my Little League game and I see that the Sox come back to win the ballgame! Can't wait till tomorrow... Brandon McCarthy is on the hill for the White Sox. *Brings out the broom*
  23. Roger Clemens has absolutely no run support...
