  1. Reliever market pretty busy.
  2. You guys really struggle with the concept of no catch alls.
  3. I think we make a pick. If Blash is there I think you have to draft him. If not I think we go with TJ Rivera. And I'd like that a lot.
  4. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Dec 7, 2015 -> 10:05 AM) Ya what the hell happened there. They got rid of the best manager in the game and it's all been downhill ever since.
  5. A 28 year old free agent who would be our cornerstone outfielder? Would love this for about 18-20 per. Do it.
  6. Highest aav in sports history?
  7. Thank you dear leader for continuing to fight against catch alls.
  8. Would have rather they kept him and traded him for Laroche, ha.
  9. Groce is so, so bad. Go 2-20 from the field? Better play more and more of a walk-on who is a black hole on offense! Along PGs who are also black holes! Even sadder when Austin was awful on the defensive end.
  10. Levine Twitter "White Sox GM Rick Hahn said he has another catcher ready to be added after non tendering Tyler Flowers ."
  11. QUOTE (zenryan @ Dec 2, 2015 -> 06:12 PM) Top preference would've been a Mullen but cant complain about Richt. Kind of funny reading all these experts the last few weeks saying how bad Miami's job situation is. In the end, Miami could've gotten any coach they preferred. Mullen was there for the taking and at worst they end up with either Schiano or Butch Davis. I said they need a Miami alum to get someone good. They went that route. Doubt Mullen would have signed on in the end.
  12. Guessing Turner is hurt. We have an extremely bare 40 man with both open spots and lack of talent on the end. Doesn't make sense for him to go first.
  13. QUOTE (gatnom @ Dec 2, 2015 -> 04:16 PM) Let us know how it is on the inside. The pictures make it seem a lot less drab because of the lack of gray, but it kind of seems a little underwhelming to me. I'm hoping it looks better on TV. Interesting. I was blown away by the pictures myself. But yeah pictures won't do it justice, good or bad, compared to tv, especially since we've yet to see it with people in it. Hope it's amazing.
  14. QUOTE (raBBit @ Dec 2, 2015 -> 05:11 PM) Someone PM when Beckham gets interview in ST and says he feels like a new guy. I'll set my a reminder to do this for March 1st
  15. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Dec 2, 2015 -> 11:37 AM) Illinois vs Notre Dame tonight in the newly renovated State Farm Center. They are also honoring Lou Henson tonight. Big night for the Illini. Super pumped, but I got night class Making the trip down. Excited.
  16. How in the world did he get a major league contract?
  17. If he can still be okay behind the plate, I'd love for him to take Flowers roster spots and also take some at bats away from Laroche. Unfortunately I don't see us doing that anyways.
  18. But the White Sox should totally trade Chris Sale.
  19. QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Dec 1, 2015 -> 11:42 AM) I wonder if you took a poll of random Sox fans at any given home game, how many of them would even know who Nancy Faust is? 15%? 20% maybe? Probably correct. Exactly why she could use a proper dedication.
  20. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Dec 1, 2015 -> 10:46 AM) New 2016 White Sox slogan. " Come to US Cellular Field for the organ and we invite you to stay for the game". Why would anyone stay for that?
  21. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 1, 2015 -> 10:29 AM) Nancy has a plaque on the organ booth and the new lady has an organ you can look at. I will admit, it is awe inspiring. I'm aware. I just dont think it's much.
  22. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 1, 2015 -> 10:14 AM) A freaking organ? People will be lined up around the block to look over the organ thousands of times. It is good to hear Nancy herself is the one donating it for charity. Why hasn't anyone questioned where it even was if it would be such a big deal to look at? Let someone buy it, and help a needy kid or family. Put it in the ball park and tens of thousands of people would view it every single year. Im sure someone has some good ideas for it, but it'd be a great dedication for the legend that is Nancy Faust. Put it in a case and use it as a centerpiece to explain why she is a legend and her impact on Chicago and sports as a whole. With the amount of eyes on it, hopefully she could continue to inspire some even in her retirement.
  23. I don't know, I feel the organ could serve better as forever a musuem piece in the park than sold for a finite amount of charity money. Hopefully it falls into good hands.
