  1. That first inning was definitely an implosion of sorts.

QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Oct 9, 2015 -> 11:36 AM) I think she comes off as completely full of herself and I can't stand her. What kind of complete narcissist stars in a biopic about themselves when they're just 28 and have only had 12 professional fights? Not to mention the whole I can beat anyone on the planet thing is a little tired. She fights nothing but cream puffs and then thinks she's big billy bad ass and can even beat men up. Don't think so. I don't think she thinks she can take on men. I know she's on record saying she'd never fight a transvestite so I doubt she'd fight a man. That's other people saying that. She's fighting all her top contenders too. Just none of them are close to her.
  3. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Oct 9, 2015 -> 10:48 AM) I'm not rooting for the Cubs, not really rooting for any team this playoffs, but I don't get some of the active rooting for the team that is playing the Cubs or actively rooting against them. I have some family(some of them are getting up there in age) and friends who are Cub fans and I know this would be awesome for them to see the Cubs win it. Sure there will be a lot of annoying fans if they win it, but I know it would be really nice to see longtime fans be happy. Also, f*** that bar. Here is another pleasant story about them. McNally's Cuts Band Off Due to 'Too Many Black People,' Musician Says I wouldn't expect much out of a Western bar but that story was such bs.
  4. The only thing more annoying then cubs fans are the sox fans who feel the need to lecture you on why you shouldn't root for the cubs to lose. Just kidding, they aren't more annoying, but annoying nonetheless.

Rousey is a marketing phenom. Amazing how a woman athlete like her in a sort of niche sport has become one of the most popular and marketable people in the country.
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 9, 2015 -> 08:38 AM) I read where it's illegal to give away for free but can't it be discounted, two for one, 50 cents, etc.? Nope. No dynamic pricing allowed. Happy Hour was illegal even til about a month ago and with that you still have to advertise the times and have it set in stone
  7. Also Caulfield your plan would be illegal in the great city of chicago.
  8. Maybe we could do Laroche to the pirates for Charlie Morton. Bad contract for bad contract.
  9. Don't really get taking out Gallardo. Odor homers. 5-3
  10. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Oct 8, 2015 -> 01:30 AM) No problemo, the team can easily field a title winning team with just Mexicans, Cubans, Venezuelans and Dominicans... Americans not needed, this ain't the NFL America is over 75 percent of players. You absolutely need it
  11. Astros over Royals in 5 Blue Jays over Texas in 5 Cubs over Cardinals in 3 Dodgers over Mets in 4 Blue Jays over Astros in 6 Dodgers over Cubs in 5 Dodgers over Blue Jays in 7 Dodgers abuse the f*** out of their two headed pitching monster en route to victory
  12. Announcers talking about the cubs being lucky rather than good reguarding the hard hit balls the last few innings. I'll take it.
  13. You don't need to hate the cubs but lecturing or talking down to people on why they shouldn't hate the cubs is annoying too. Move on.
  14. Thursday, Oct. 8 Texas (Gallardo 13-11) at Toronto (Price 18-5), 3:37 p.m. (FS1) Friday, Oct. 9 Texas (Hamels 7-1) at Toronto(Stroman), 12:45 p.m. (MLBN) Sunday, Oct. 11 Toronto (Estrada 13-8) at Texas (Lewis 17-9), 8:10 p.m. (FS1) x-Monday, Oct. 12 Toronto (Dickey 11-11) at Texas (Holland 4-3), (FOX or FS1) x-Wednesday, Oct. 14 Texas at Toronto (FOX or FS1)
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 09:16 PM) Neil Walker is such a White Sox type player Yep. Areieta not looking great last two innings, a little wild. Get ahead 2-1 and then promptly swing at 2 pitches that weren't even close.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 09:05 PM) Smart move to be honest Definitely
  17. Arrieta making sure to hide behind everyone
  18. Come on McCutchen. ...one time...
  19. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Oct 7, 2015 -> 08:30 PM) The crazy thing is the Cubs would be favorites against either LA or NY. The Mets haven't beating the Cubs this season. But this is baseball, so anything is possible. There's no chance they'd be favorites vs the dodgers. No one would except maybe toronto. Two best pitchers in baseball on one team in a playoff series...that doesnt bode well for anyone.
  20. What the f*** are you swinging at
  21. At least the crowd is back in it
