I do have to say this is insanely ironic from a Mizzou fan. Since he took over Kansas, Self and KU have probably been investigated and busted more than any other program in the country. There's something to it at least. And I must be forgetting who Groce has lost out to Self other than Alexander. I'm sure there's someone, honestly can't remember.

Wow, he must be pretty impressionable. Obviously the recruiting sites don't agree with me but i love what I see of Moore, even moreso than Thomas. He'll be on the nba real quick.

I think just the opposite of Illinois. They need to make their past a bigger deal. They should point to those "5 BANNERZ!!!". They had the greatest CFB player ever play at their school. There's also Dick Butkus, Kevin Hardy, Simeon Rice etc. This is a school that doesn't appreciate it's history at all. I realize it wouldn't be much more than a historical footnote now, and that's fine, but you would even realize Illinois had a history talking to just about anyone, fans or not. Not saying we should return to a national power even, but marketing sucks from making illinois look like anything but a doormat. That's even when we do win.
