QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 26, 2011 -> 09:31 PM) The last time Livan Hernandez struck out 9 in a game was September 26, 2004. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 26, 2011 -> 07:37 PM) Yeah, but you can't "Count this game" yet, Humber gives up 1 run at some point and he moves back to 8th. Point taken, though he could give up 1 ER from here on out and he'd still have Ogando beat. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 26, 2011 -> 07:35 PM) He's 8th in ERA if you don't count those guys. They're not showing up on my list because of a lack of qualifying innings. Beckett, Weaver, Shields, Verlander, Pineda, Gio, Ogando, Humber, in order. Okay. Humber is ahead of Ogando now though if you're including this game, so 7th I guess. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 26, 2011 -> 07:31 PM) He's got the 8th best ERA among starters in the AL The two Oakland pitchers (who aren't Gio) don't really count considering they've only started 6 games a piece. -

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 26, 2011 -> 07:23 PM) Sac flies. Somebody needs to tell Morel to at least walk once in a while. It's embarrassing to have a ML hitter with no power and absolutely no ability to get on base on anything but singles and the occasional double. Pretty much. I wish he would have played today though considering he went 3-4 yesterday. Granted Teahen I guess deserved a game for his 3 run bomb the other night, and at least he has a hit today. -

I just noticed Brent Morel has a higher batting average this month than OBP. That's funny. -

Phil Humber ERA watch at 2.78 now. It's going to be hard to leave him off the all-star team if he keeps this up. Too bad there are a lot of quality starters in the AL. -

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jun 24, 2011 -> 05:40 PM) I think some posters here were too hard on J4L last night, this is an open forum and he didn't insult anyone here so I don't get what rule he broke. Sure, sometimes he's over the top (that Bosh is better than Rose was out there) but that's why we have an ignore button, use it.Overall I like his posts though I don't agree with all of them, he's been right and he's been wrong, just like EVERYONE here.If anyone here has a crystal ball and can see these picks will pan out, PM me tonight's Lotto numbers, I kinda would like to retire and live the life. \rant And in the end, he was very much right on his first and main part of his infamous post: This board incredibly overrates Omer Asik. The fact that we may have just drafted someone in the first round to play 12 MPG 3-4 years from now should only scare people, especially when the Bulls should be in win now mode. And that's all he was trying to address at the time. -

Mccamey really doesn't deserved to be grouped with Richmond. I was hoping he'd be drafted. -

Richmond loved his kush a little too much and couldn't even make it to work outs. Of course he wasn't going to get drafted. -

Draft is over. Bulls with a not so great draft. Loved the Butler pick, but what they did with the other two was pretty terrible. -

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 24, 2011 -> 12:55 AM) You just lost Lebron James and the future of your organization is, well, there is no future. You go all-in and hope for the best. What exactly is the worst that could happen? Pretty much. I mean, Kyrie Irving? Does anyone really see him carrying a franchise? Derrick Williams is still a very safe pick, so questioning him has no merit. What position will he play? Why does it matter? He's got skills to play both at a high level, namely at the offensive end. He can be an elite scorer, seems like the Cavs could use that right about now. -

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 11:24 PM) That makes the most sense (IMO) if they are to keep 1 and 4. I'm one of the majority who thinks that Williams is the best, and will be the best player of this draft. And you're getting, maybe, a slight downgrade from Irving at 4 in Knight. If I'm the GM of the Cavs, that's what I'd do. Agreed.
