  1. I'm guessing its this guy: http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showuser=1807
  2. I thought Kingdom of Heaven was bad....
  3. I'm thinking Shawn Micheals lives an alternate life-style as a pitcher. (Heck, he even left clues in the name "Rocker"):
  4. QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ May 13, 2005 -> 05:12 PM) I don't see what is that bad about this. I mean, sure, if they were stealing someones dog and cutting it up, that would not be good, but this is just one of many dogs that is going to be put to sleep anyway. It could gross a lot of people out, though, and I'm sure it will be optional, because that is what all the the dissection stuff at my school is. Ive cut up frogs, pigs, cow stuff, and I belive net year is a cat. Doesnt bother me at all. Anyways, with this situation, if you think about it like just an open-heart surgery on a dog, its not so bad, and that is the way I see it. Then the dog is put to sleep right after, which happens all the time. No big deal? Agree Completly.

    2005 E3 Thread

The Rev recently leaked some details: - Online play confirmed - Standard DVD format will be the Rev's choice - High Definition confirmed - It will lie horizontally (Like a normal DVD player) - No more than 2 inches tall PIC of the size difference: From NintendoNow.com
  6. 1. Mike Caruso 2. McKay Christenson 3. Mark Johsnon 4. Jeff Abbot 5. Danny Wright
  7. Wavebirds own. I think we can all assume the Rev will be Wavebird exclusive. That will proabaly leave PS3 as the only thing with cords(unless they are planning otherwise).
  8. I think we will be seeing more of Joey B soon,
  9. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 12, 2005 -> 06:54 PM) Ok, I did misunderstand... Let me ask you this then...Latroy Hawkins was excellent out of the closer's spot in Minnesota. Would you consider trading for him now? I sure as all Hell wouldn't, and I wouldn't take Dotel either. I just have trouble buying the whole "They're great as a setup man and terrible as a closer, if we put them back as a setup man they'll be great again" line of thinking. If a guy is struggling, he'll struggle whether or not it's the 8th or the 9th inning. He has to prove to me that he can still be a good setup man again before I'd even consider taking him. Will putting a guy in the 8th inning change his stuff? No, but it will change his whole mentality. I believe some guys just struggle carrying the weight of the name closer, and are much calmer coming out to set-up. I think we've seen too many cases of this in MLB to think otherwise. Now, sometimes an even worse scenario is moving him out of a closers role, back into his normal spot in the bullpen. So, would it be a risk to take Dotel on? Yes, but one worth taking(having not looked at his contract, mind you) if you aren't giving up anyone named Brandon, Ryan, or Brian.
  10. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 12, 2005 -> 06:46 PM) Man...you need to go to MLB.com and see if you can find highlights of the last 2 Oakland-Red Sox games. Seriously. What do people see in this guy? I can't figure it out, he's had an ERA about 4 over the last 2 seasons I think you misinterpreted what I said. I meant he was great out of the closer spot, as in a set-up man in Houston. Not he was great out of the closer spot, as in his performance in Oakland.
  11. Wasn't this same exact question(Same words and all) asked to another "expert"? I forgot how he answered it, just found it funny that Paul from Chicago copy/pasted and got that same question in print again.
  12. I would take Dotel. He was great out of the closer spot, so I'd give him a spot as one helluva set-up man.
  13. Dotel became the 1st player in 7 years yesterday to give up Walk-off HR's in consecutive games. Me thinks he is begining to wear out his welcome.
  14. QUOTE(knightni @ May 12, 2005 -> 06:21 PM) I was mostly speculating on the Sox getting Chavez. I wasn't looking to make a formal offer necessarily. I dunno... Crede, Cotts, Baj, Diaz and Borchard...? Are these "Moneyball" guys? Borchard and Crede are certianly not moneyball guys. They already had Cotts once before. Diaz would not probaly fit. Baj would probaly fit there, given their recent 'pen problems. Bottom line: To get a star, we will probaly have to give up one of our Big 3.
  15. I pull out a BIG pass slip on this deal. No thanks at all.
  16. Not fake, the dude who did it is a pro video gamer in Japan.
  17. The Greatest Sports Game by far. Ever. Ever: If you disagree with this, you are wrong.
