Yep we were gifted that game today with miserable pitching by the Mariners with a simply awful Sox lineup. Winning this would have made up for one of the Angels games they should have won.

As the Sox struggle to score vs RHP, it comes back to the need to have power in the lineup. I will never understand why they thought getting more grindy was smart after finally getting good offensive stats via slugging.

This lineup today is last place in the division caliber. They’re going to have to upgrade in LF sooner than later. Can you imagine the current LF options facing Indians pitching next week?
