And it was on 2 strike pitches that he normally would have probably taken for strike 3

Collins is doing a great job of protecting the plate when he has two strikes.

Looked like 2-3 sliders that he caught incredibly awkward in the first two innings.

This really is the 2018-2019 Sox offseason in football form.

To be fair, he did hit more homers at GRF last year than Madrigal and Mazara combined

Eaton and Madrigal need to be nicknamed the Slap Brothers

If you notice though, Anderson took the long route to the ball and even if he fielded it, he had no chance of getting the out. If he cut across and dove, it’s a much easier play with shorter throw.

Yep how do they think they have a prayer of competing this coming year?

Padres seemed behind on his fastball all day

He never, ever dives.

Mercedes has a very fast release

Haha, learn to dive Timmy

Lopez looks bad once again. He has no business being in the majors with a contending team.

They’re going to have to blow everything up after this coming season. Doesn’t seem to be any hope for the next 3-4 seasons.

Haha what a debacle. He’s so bad

Rodon looks really good. Madrigal with some solid defense.

Mercedes is just awful receiving the ball

Collins just almost killed Musgrove. Hit him in the shoulder/wrist instead. It’s funny but I swear Collins has been the best hitter in terms of quality of AB.

Rodon just blowing fastballs past Manny. Mercedes doesn’t look good catching his slider. Rodon all around the plate, probably better than I’ve ever seen his command.

Padres stream

Musgrove made Madrigal and Vaughn look silly with his breaking ball.

Not live

I saw “fans” equal extension in the tweet (pictures). What am I missing?

You would think it’s one of those two or Lynn. If it was Madrigal, Harold would have sworn.
