It's crazy when you look at the lineup and see just how little power this lineup has from 5-9. Would love to know the last time an AL team had such little power from the 5-9 spots in their lineup on July 20th of a season.

- Vaughn might not have 35 HR power, but he's going to be a doubles machine. Beautiful swings we're seeing on these videos, and he's lined out an awful lot as well.
I have a theory that the Sox were still "in the race" when Collins was up, and they were trying to compete at the time. He'll get more at bats when he returns due to the team being out of it.
