  1. You can’t honestly believe Hahn has done a good job the last 3 years? The trades have worked out well, but the free agent signings have been a disaster for the most part. He’s done a truly terrible job at finding potential pieces on a contending trade from deals outside the big 3 pieces. Everyone likes to compare the Sox rebuild to the Astros and Cubs, but those GMs could have only dreamed of having guys like Sale, Q and Eaton to deal. Instead they struck gold trading FA signings like Feldman, whereas seemingly half of Hahn’s FA signings vanish from baseball after a year or so.
  2. At least he knows the shortest path from one spot to another spot is a straight line
  3. Have a feeling he gets packaged with Colome to the Brewers
  4. Yoan looked good at the plate, but Giolito getting destroyed is what made tonight a “bad” game for the rebuild. But yes, the talent in this current lineup is as bad as I can remember
  5. Long story short, I vehemently disagree. Hahn’s been comically bad as a GM.
  6. Conforto is a significantly better fit, even if he costs a lot more.
  7. I thought that was a pretty impressive 3 run outing. Keep him up for rest of the year.
  8. You’d be missing out on his amazing arm in LF. Between him and Eloy, you might combine to throw as hard as Cease.
  9. That one was fine...the first and third to Cruz were awful and the Kepler one might have been his worst pitch of the season.
  10. Oh come on, 3 of the 4 homers were on meatballs down the plate. Sadly Twins are so stacked that you just can’t make mistakes. They don’t have slap hitters like the Sox.
  11. Inability to keep his mechanics straight. Yes his metrics were great, but there were always questions about how his velocity would hold up with his new arm swing.
  12. Yeah if they spend on starting pitching this offseason, I don’t see how they won’t be the favorite in the AL Central next few years.
  13. Not necessarily his fault, but I also don’t believe he has the slightest clue how to coach up this new generation of velocity guys. The bigger issue is that keeping pitchers healthy used to be something he was praised for, but that has shifted. I just don’t see how they can justify keeping him around getting his massive failures the last 5 years or so.
