How so? Double was legit, Walker hit a line drive single and then Castro hit it hard.

Kept throwing Castro inside sinkers and then have Yoan not on the line.

No shock, Covey's not designed to be a starter. Defensive positioning still sucks.

Reed just refuses to swing at 2 strike pitches down the plate. He really is chubby Collins

The DH contributions are laughable. I’m sure some NL teams have a higher average from their pitching staff than the Sox designated hitters do.

Cease had 4 good innings, 1 bad one. Just really has to work in that fastball command, as well as keeping that velocity up

Something I believe Cooper and the Sox organization does poorly is work too much on pitchers becoming well-rounded and not focusing on perfecting their best pitches

Not even close on these balls. This is the stuff he needed to master in AAA.

His issue is when he misses, he misses by a huge amount. Not going to get a lot of swing and misses if you’re 18 inches off the plate
