6/7 White Sox @ Royals (7:15 PM)
Great play by Yoan! Yolmer got lucky as hell. Benetti with great announcing.

Abreu has taken some really weird swings his last two at bats. Didn't really use his hands at all....very ugly

6/7 White Sox @ Royals (7:15 PM)
He's been hitting more balls right down the LF line of late.

I think they've been playing him to hit to left center. I've seen enough of Gordon defensively to state he played it well.

Nice!!! Deserves a cheap hit after some bad luck of late.

definitely reviewing two things on that play

This is one of those games where the good players have been fine and the bad players have shown why they're bad

Awful call by the ump...was obvious live he was safe

Cordell has had great pitches to hit tonight and taken awful swings.

Rare gapper for Timmy. It's kind of amazing how infrequent he hits it to the left center gap.

That was actually one time that it made sense to keep the starter in given the sinker ball, but I didn't mind Ricky being proactive in general. Sox have done nothing in this game outside of one swing by McCann to deserve to win this game.

Pitching away from the shift there

Late hitting 92 mph fastball that supposedly has worst spin rate in baseball

Eloy has got to stop guessing. He takes so many fastballs for strikes. I’m still shocked at how bad he is and how someone that used to make hitting look easy make it look so hard.

Don’t lump me in with those thinking the rebuild is doomed though. I’ve been saying all year this season is overall a positive so far. Biggest thing is adding talented free agents this offseason to offset a lot of the prospect depth we’ve lost due to injuries and stagnation (any minor league pitcher besides Cease and any minor league outfielder besides Robert)

Don’t buy the excuses. The Sox thought Manny’s camp was bluffing and they didn’t have a 300 offer, IMO. It was a blown negotiation, end of story.

How about the front office remove the relic of a pitching coach that has consistently produced bad staffs the last 6 years or so and seemingly refuses to accept how baseball is played now? When I made the post, that was more of what I was focusing on when I said there is no real hope for actual change.

Cordell has such a long swing that it has to kill his timing only playing once or twice a week

Can we put a port-a-potty in CF?

I think it’s just a hopeless feeling for many of us about the continued stupidity of the front office, including the manager without any true hope changes will occur

Probably not a lot of team’s message boards are going to take kindly to everything Yonder represents in terms of organizational failure. He’s lucky he’s with the Sox. Most fan bases would be booing the hell out of him.
