101 fastballs, 3 swings and miss for Santana on the year

Hahn or Santana?

Better Late Than Never Gamethread
He’s the pitching version of Manny Ramirez. He will be off the roster after a month or so and a total waste of 4 million dollars. That money would have been better spent buying state-of-the-art body armor for Luis Robert.

Matt Davidson has better stuff.

And when you throw 89, you’re still not going to blow it past him. Steve Stone was critical of it as well.

Throwing 0-2 fastball to a guy that will swing at any slider is ridiculous

He legit might have the worst stuff in baseball for any RHP now.

These pitches have nothing on them. Much rather see Covey than Santana. Sox mgmt rules!

Pitch selection continues to be awful.

Half expecting an update to say he’s out 4-6 weeks due to ligament issue.

How many balls actually hit to the left side of the field?

The Rick Hahn Dynasty
Someone tell Rick that then with his “the money will be spent” line

Yeah blaming Jerry for not wanting to spend 300 doesn’t justify the other actions Hahn took. I’m so tired of the excuses being made for him. Not bringing in a single core asset over the last two years is ridiculous.

Veterans playing well under Hahn? Yeah not gonna happen and that’s the problem.

Well to be fair, the Sox liked Manny, so that might be the best predictor he's going to fall off a cliff.

See what I said above...watch Yoan, Timmy, Eloy and Rodon, Giolito, Lopez. Besides for those 6, find something better to do with your time.

Twins and Indians are trying to win. The White Sox are just biding time this season and have no interest in competing. Wins and losses just aren't important.

I like Yoan and Timmy batting consecutively, but don't like it with Engel batting 9th. The Sox really have to stop trying to make this whole "Engel is a major leaguer" thing happen. If you would have told me there was a thread about him with over 80 posts, I would have guessed he either failed a PEDS test or wrote an article for the Players Tribune that he's legally blind.

The Rick Hahn Dynasty
Then we really need to find someone who does a better job of finding diamonds in the rough and doesn't waste 9 million dollars on washed-up vets. This whole front office scheme is just not working, as there is so much data coming out at just how bad they are in every possible aspect.

Would like to thank them for having Yoan and Timmy batting consecutively. Was able to watch other programming instead of seeing the other 7 hitters bat from the 5th inning on.

He's doing that thing again where he takes way too many called 3rd strikes. Been a significant number of them lately.

By no means am I giving up on Madrigal. I just believe he’s going to have to make some changes to his swing in order to be a more effective hitter the higher up the ranks he goes. From people who have seen him this year, he hasn’t made an adjustment yet.

Nice Yoan!
