He has no chance in the majors with his current fastball command. I’ve never seen someone miss high on his fastball so often.

Wouldn’t mind him having a lefty opener to try and limit how many lefties he faces in the lineup.

Tim is great hitting the slider.

Bullshit call by the umpire, but it must be nice to have catchers try to frame. Castillo wasn’t even trying last inning.

It’s beyond awful, but I’m confident he won’t be back.

Or the coaches are too stubborn to preach launch angle. You can’t tell me the Twins or Astros wouldn’t excel at getting Eloy to elevate instead of pounding the ball into the ground.

Eloy strikes out without seeing a strike. This whole team strikes out too much and refuses to walk.

Especially with the juiced ball. Everyone and their mother hits double digits, and the Sox can’t find a DH that can hit above .200 with minimal power.

Amazing that Castillo is going to stay on the roster all season.

Nice to see the big guys all reach this inning

I don’t think people realize how incompetent this team is defensively, according to metrics

Good for Yoan

He’s borderline unplayable out there. Still infuriating they need gave Madrigal a chance to show he can play SS in the minors.

He is, for some reason someone on this site thinks he’s good. Everyone else knows he’s just eating innings right now.

Clearly the Sox organization thinks the Charlotte postseason is more important. Even Stone reiterated that tonight.

God help us if the Cubs make the wild card by 1 game over the Phillies because of Skole’s flare

Walker.....homer

Good thing they played for one run in the first.

Perfectly played by Garcia. I hate the juiced ball.

0-12 with 6 strikeouts given how he’s hit this season is absolutely a slump for him.

Saying the communication issues are due to all the injuries is an excuse, yes. Garcia and Anderson have been in their respective positions long enough this year for that to be a stupid excuse for Stone to use.

Stone continues to make excuses for Timmy’s defense

Such awful communication all season. No excuse for Garcia to not catch that.

I love when I see you with an update when I know one of the big guys is batting.

Yep, hate not turning him loose there
