It's not just the draft pick though (unlike basketball). A lot of the tanking is unloading solid to good contributors for minor league assets. If not for this, the Sox would be incredible screwed.

You know I was the founder of Singer is underrated on this site about 26 hours ago. After seeing 89 mph fastballs and hanging sliders galore yesterday, I now don't blame people on here for being down on him. As for KW, it seems like he's the final auditor on all potential deals.

I know I've said this a few times, but I always thought the Sox brass would have a hard time drafting an advanced 2nd baseman (ready for majors by 2020?) with Yoan already in place.
