Absolutely agree they need experienced arms for next year. As we've seen this year, the youth can be hard to rely on to fill innings. I could see them bringing in two...one bigger name and also bringing back Shields.

He has no hit stuff so far

If it makes you feel worse, it was probably his least competitive at bat of the year. Faked a bunt on fastball down the plate and then severely overmatched by two high fastballs. Yolmer wasn't much better.

Pretty much guarantee he says he likes Adolfo, Gonzalez ceiling is everyday outfielder and Rutherford still sucks (not saying I agree)

His throws have been fine. He's had more difficulty with his decision making than expected, but that's due to inexperience. I don't consider his range to be anything special.

Said it about a month ago, but there is no doubt Hahn and company thought they would be more competitive this year. He was on every radio station this offseason saying how Sox would be quiet but the next offseason (after this season) would be exciting.
