Control from the pitchers in the minors has been abysmal.

I wanted to say something like that, but then you get someone like Meidroth who crushed AAA and comes up to majors and has a hard time hitting the ball out of the infield.

That idiot’s awful talent evaluation has made a terrible situation even worse.

This is so obviously a AAA team. Getz pulled all the right strings with this bullpen as well.

Getz really nailed the free agent market this past offseason.

The top pitching prospects are legit. I’m not sold on the offensive guys at all. No difference makers.

There’s not a single player on the Sox that would start for the Cubs, and only one or two would make their bench.

And let Getz overrated minor leaguers get exposed?

This might be the worst lineup they’ve had yet.

Nice power for Perez so far

Unless he gets more extension on the swing, he will not produce power numbers. It’s like his jabbing at everything.

I’m sure he takes Jerry’s opinion into consideration, but it’s still no excuse for his awful talent evaluation.

As of now, I’m confident they’d decline the option.

If he would have just made the opposite of every acquisition, they’d be in a better place. Fedde was the best guy he’s signed, and even that has basically become a net negative for the franchise.
