He has in the past, I just think these players are so sick of everything being about Manny or Harper. Timmy will tweet something that likely has nothing to do about baseball, and every response is about Manny.

This is going to be a very awkward weekend:

2017 it was the Friday before. 2018 it was the Tuesday the week of.

Sure they could be a mystery team. They have a ton of payroll space as well. I can’t imagine Manny wanting to play there.

Always thought Pods struggled defensively because he wasn't able to use his speed, as he notoriously would take small steps instead of his normal stride.

wouldn't you agree they need to add Manny though for them to have any hope of competing?

any chance you know why they're so late in getting the softest daily schedules out?

still hasn't touched home plate

Thing is, I would have been fine seeing Palka DH in 2019 with Abreu at 1B heading into the offseason. However, the Alonso and Jay acquisitions have created a mess in the outfield. Just hoping they get Manny and things start to make more sense. If not, the roster construction will be a total mess.

I don't disagree that adding Joc to this outfield would make little sense in terms of possible platoons, etc.

It's been rumored for a while that they would be open to trading Ender. Could totally see the Indians wanting Inciarte.

by trading the #4 pick and Carmelo Anthony for the #3 pick

Pretty sure day-to-day schedule was announced the Friday before the last two years.

Heck of a lot better deal than Michael Brantley

Me too, just seems odd they haven't announced the specific lineup with only a few days to go. Looks like it's been announced a week ahead of time in previous years.

Isn't it kind of late in the month for the soxfest schedule to not be announced?

Isn't Almora pretty slow and didn't he play a pretty good center field last year?

Or Moncada or Yolmer

And he feasted on college on hitters chasing offspeed pitches well out of the zone. In the majors, hitters aren’t even flinching at these pitches.

Like 12 mil a year more for more years and giving up a draft pick?

Pretty sure every twitter response will be the cash is for Manny

No kidding, it's amazing how people think the Dodgers will give him up for "nothing". He has far more value than Abreu does, yet people think the Sox would get top 100 guys for him.
