You should care less what the fans think and more what the front office thinks. From the moves they've made and are trying to make, they sure seem to be talking themselves into being competitive next year at the latest.

You mean the Sox front office?

I will say this, every move Hahn has made seems to be with the idea they were getting Machado. If they don't get him, then god help this organization.

I'm a big fan of cashing in on Rutherford now if other teams are buying him as a legit top 100 prospect still. Don't forget the Marlins front office has a lot of people that drafted him, so they might either really like him or dislike him. The reason to cash in on Rutherford now is because Birmingham doesn't seem like it will be kind to his slugging pct.

I like Bryce Bush as a long-term prospect more than Rutherford, to be honest

That's a phenomenal deal for the Dodgers

1 yr, 3 mil for Brach. Seems like prices have dropped drastically across the board of late. Makes Herrera seem like a big overpay.

I was thinking the other lefty reliever

I'm betting it's a 3 way trade Sox/Dodgers/Marlins. Dodgers will get Realmuto and a lefty reliever, Marlins will Dodgers prospects and maybe someone like Delmonico and Sox get Pederson.

Quite a steal, would have loved that as an addition to a Machado deal

sure if it's part of 3-way deal, which it seems it would be for Marlins or Indians

At this point, I think we should all be rooting very hard for the Phillies to get Harper

Yep, I'm guessing one of 5 teams: Sox, Indians, Marlins, Reds, Braves

You better believe they’re careful about what they say this weekend. Ricky also did say today that the Sox have as good a chance as anyone to get Manny.

Gomez was first to mention 8/250

Nice to see another person say Sox are at 8/250

Adams was a good pick, unfortunately his velocity disappeared.

Like the idea of Wilson as mentioned earlier if the lefties are used for Joc

Cooper said on a podcast in last two weeks that he thought they would add to the rotation

It's officially uploaded on the White Sox site now

Looks like soxfest schedule is leaking out now. Nothing “interesting”

FTFY

He has in the past, I just think these players are so sick of everything being about Manny or Harper. Timmy will tweet something that likely has nothing to do about baseball, and every response is about Manny.
