Yoan looks like he's about to go into a slump again. Pulling off the ball badly, causing him to foul off hittable pitches. So far, the "first wave" of the rebuild has been disappointing.

well the 55 was a lot of projection for how he'd mature as a pro. Some of his biggest supports going into the draft are the ones that have been the most negative about him (i.e.: KLaw)

I disagree, I don't think he has the pure power to hit a lot of homers. Rather just have him work on hitting line drives while getting stronger and go from there.

I'm not sure what him and Lopez have to do to improve their spin rate, but I hope they work on tinkering things the rest of the way. Just continuing to go forward with what they've done this year (especially Lopez) and ignoring metrics is wasting valuable development time. With that said, Cooper doesn't strike me as someone that cares about spin rate.

It's a 92 mph fastball that had a piece of the plate. Given Giolito's spin rate, that's a bad pitch.
