Absolute batting practice fastballs this inning. Impressive meltdown...bullpen is about to get real bad once Avilan and Cedeno unloaded.

Is seeing what Hamilton can do as a closer really going to help the team win too much? Rather give him development time in that role for games that mean absolutely nothing.

Guess Jace didn't check the box as a closer

Just awful pitch selection. These righties can kill his fastball. Meanwhile, people think they could get a top 100 guy? Nope

Screwed on first pitch and then a meatball. Why is Hamilton not up?

Should get an extra day between starts

Bat him 2nd

Avi is much more likely, IMO, to ever agree to a fair extension if the Sox approached him.

I think 368 days from now most likely, but like you said, it's always a question mark with his health.

This is where the uncertainty with the Eaton trade trio really hurts.

Nice job by Davidson of adjusting his swing.

He doesn't have close to his best stuff and he's being incredibly efficient.

the amount of solid contact he's making is insane

It's also because as I posted earlier, Yolmer is horrendous against LHP.

Ironically I hate bunting and thought it was a real good call given the score and who was up.

Also, anyone else annoyed with the umpire's motions after every pitch? Can't tell if he's calling balls or strikes because he keeps swaying his left arm.

Today might be Yoan's two best swings of the year vs LHP. Awesome to see

91 mph fastball for a homer, now he's throwing 95

Yolmer has an OPS below .500 vs LHP. No way can he be pencilled in next year as a starter.

Thankfully Stoney calling out the absolute dog shit approach the hitters have.

Eloy homer

My god Eloy

Rodon might want to pick velocity up. Throwing 90-91 right down the plate to hot hitting lineup

He's not, pure salary dump

almost 30k....I wonder if teams had bobbleheads every game, would they end up making significant more money in terms of revenue?
