I've said this for a while, but they're going to have to invest in rotation pieces this offseason. You can't pencil in both Giolito and Lopez with confidence.

About time for good luck. Giolito isn't pitching bad, but he's just a comfortable at bat is all hitters have to look for is fastball/change combo.

Can't pitch in the majors with no breaking pitches and a meatball fastball. Some cheap hits but everything is up in the zone.

The pitch to Gurriel was a high changeup. Not sure why they keep throwing fastballs to Granderson as well. Biggest issue Giolito has is command on slider/curve is so awful, the hitters aren't even tempted to swing.

If this continues, it's going to be difficult to pencil him into the rotation next season. The one thing that will kill this rebuild is if all the young pitchers bust, as Hahn went the pitching path instead of the hitting path with the rebuild.

But the fastball doesn't miss bats. That's a big problem when you don't have good offspeed pitches.

ERA of 4.45 and counting. His fastball command has been freaking awful last two starts. His velocity is down as well. The stuff he's shown the last month is not starting caliber.

Best looking prospect on W-S now that Adolfo is hurt.

Personally I'm ready for a new voice as pitching coach, but I'm sure Cooper has a lifetime contract.
