  1. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Jun 1, 2017 -> 02:47 AM) f*** off man. Seriously. WTF are you doing Renteria. It's ridiculous. Worst thing is it's been unsuccessful nearly every time
  2. Stop bunting!!!
  3. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 31, 2017 -> 03:37 AM) But imagine how good he can be if he can only learn to hit! And the Sox are just awesome at developing these type of players
  4. Nice to see the young hitters get back on track (Anderson, Garcias)
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 31, 2017 -> 04:13 AM) Do you agree Fulmer has been trash this season in terms of his stuff? I'm really surprised a guy as smart as you thinks it's OK to root for losses. I mean the reward from rooting for losses is a .... better draft pick. Pedro Alvarez ... Mike Trout are calling you on this one. I don't think he's a starting pitcher, but also if the Sox lost two more games that year, they would have got Benintendi
  6. QUOTE (Dam8610 @ May 31, 2017 -> 03:09 AM) Did his pitch recognition seem awful to you? Hard to tell from the angle. Just seemed like someone who has a horrible hit tool, which is what has been advertised
  7. Arguing that Fulmer is a bad pick and believing meaningless wins in a non-contending season are important is just comical to me
  8. I watched a ton of Kendall YouTube videos and I've never seen a prospect video show a guy swing and miss so often
  9. For Sale's last inning, they just played "we are never getting back together"
  10. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 31, 2017 -> 02:25 AM) Jennings has been awful. I think warming up every game and pitch g in a lot of them may have caught up to him. He's someone that I never quite understood how he got hitters out. Not overpowering velocity and mediocre offspeed
  11. Jennings is so bad this year. He has nothing on his pitches
  12. How many exit velocities over 100 tonight?
  13. Sale freaking sucks tonight
  14. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 31, 2017 -> 02:58 AM) Cue Eddie Butler shutout coming... Have to credit Maddon to sticking with Schwarber at the top of the order...assuming it eventually pans out. The White Sox never were able to show that kind of patience with their young hitters, but having won the WS last year really takes at least 50% of the pressure they would be under this year had they lost to the Indians. Wtf
  15. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 31, 2017 -> 01:52 AM) Our pitching will be fine. And if you don't believe it will, we best be holding on to Q anyways. It's just a shame that we've now got a major piece we were planning on cashing in lose its value. Going to have to make that up somewhere else. Just think of getting Robert as the consolation
  16. Let's see if Captain Jackass retaliates
  17. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 31, 2017 -> 01:47 AM) Well, you know, as bad as Q has been, the offense has been as pleasantly good this year. Some really f***ing good at bats tonight against Sale. I shockingly feel better about the future of the offense than pitching
  18. QUOTE (flavum @ May 31, 2017 -> 02:44 AM) This is Quintana's 162nd career start. The Sox are 74-87 in his starts. JQINAA
  19. QUOTE (oldsox @ May 31, 2017 -> 02:37 AM) This loss is on Renteria. Crap, Jose changed his last name?
  20. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 31, 2017 -> 02:35 AM) He's done this his entire career. He's just not keeping the ball in the park
  21. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 31, 2017 -> 01:33 AM) Sure, even Tyler Danish looked okay despite his early game struggles. The problem is that none of those guys (other than possibly Dunning) profile as anything more than back of the rotation guys. Dunning was projected by most scouts to be a 3/4 type of guy, at least best. Unless he can really develop/refine his secondary pitches. He got away with mostly his fastball in the SALLY League, but then hit a wall with better hitters in Advanced A. Adams has never lived up to that early athletic potential and "frame" projection...in terms of increasing his velocity from 89-92 into the mid 90's. Yeah god help us if those are the top talents the Sox are relying on. Outside of Hansen, those are guys that should have been complimentary pieces
  22. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 31, 2017 -> 02:24 AM) Between Q, Rodon, Giolito (until recently), Lopez, Fulmer...it's a mystifying season for almost all of the Sox pitching prospects other than Kopech. And this game's on a 4+ hour pace. Good god, it has been slow. More like 4 1/2 hours. Agreed, pitching has been very disappointing in terms of development for the future
  23. QUOTE (miracleon35th @ May 31, 2017 -> 02:19 AM) Benetti just made a jackazz of himself making a routine fly out that didn't even make the warning track sound like it was a home run. Benetti is just awful. He is really getting on my nerves. Get used to it, he will be here as long as he wants
