  1. QUOTE (harkness @ Aug 14, 2016 -> 12:56 AM) fraizer has put his bat in play as much as the ball... Anderson needs to work on his speed to first.. for a guy of his speed he gets doubled up way to much on not that hard hit balls to the left side. Very slow getting out of the box

http://mlbfarm.com/index.php?team=CWS Collins out again, hope it's not an injury
  3. QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ Aug 13, 2016 -> 11:45 PM) Oh dear lord, terrible play by Coats. He got to the ball and just flat out missed it. Not a Major League caliber play whatsoever. Amazed at how bad he's looked at this level
  4. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 13, 2016 -> 09:54 PM) Not only that, but he's a really nice kid, humble, good family, Ivy Leaguer... It's annoying when the Cubs aren't the obvious villains. Thankfully, there's at least Chapman now. And Lackey is the kind of guy it's easy to hate of he's not on your team, and a lot of people are trying to figure out reasons to hate Arrieta, but Sale acting like a 13 year old hasn't helped much...finally, the heart of that current order in Rizzo, Bryant and Zobrist, three more guys you'd be shocked with any of them having an off field issue. Schwarber seems to be like a quality dude as well. Then there's Maddon vs. Ventura, two completely opposite personalities. Cubs offensive players seem like good guys but the main pitchers outside of Hendricks and Lester are unlikable (Arrieta, Lackey, Chapman, Strop, Hammel)
  5. It's insane how Hendricks has turned into the best active pitcher in the NL. He might have one of the worst average fastballs readings for a RHP also. Bosio is a great asset for that franchise.
  6. Omar looks awesome. Keep starting him
  7. Anderson hits into a ton of double plays
  8. Umps just handed Cubs a win. Terrible call by the umpire
  9. QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 12, 2016 -> 03:54 AM) No offense, but he's another reason the draft means nothing. I root for wins. Nothing against the young man. I hope he has a good long career, but the draft? Give me a break rooting for losses and getting guys like Beckham and possibly Fulmer. And yet if they had only lost two more games, they would have gotten Benintendi
  10. Some type of effort by the hitters. What a joke
  11. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 12, 2016 -> 03:26 AM) What happened to the Fulmer who was supposedly the best NCAA pitcher in 2015? Seem the White Sox are just mailing it in or the offense simply doesn't believe the bullpen can ever hold a lead against KC. Fulmer's velocity is down and his command is atrocious. Looks nothing like a starting candidate.
  12. Fulmer is very unimpressive. Definite trade bait this offseason if a team values him as a starter.
  13. They are talking about it. Missed Dan's initial comments on it though
  14. Who's last Sox reliever to stay on roster for full season while having an ERA near 6?
  15. So the free agents Hahn signed this offseason were: - Avila - Jackson - Navarro - Albers - Rollins - Latos That's impressive
  16. Really don't know what more Albers needs to do to get DFA. Rather see Ynoa or Fulmer get a chance here.
  17. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 04:39 AM) Tim Anderson is just a guess hitter. 5 strikeouts. I'd seriously consider sending him back to Charlotte. He's also not hitting for any power since the break.
  18. Jennings just hulked up
  19. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 03:55 AM) if you want to blame the performance of the bullpen (post ASB), look no further than Sale Robertson was fresh coming into the game last night. People make a lot of excuses for someone that has been a massive disappointment here.
  20. Makes it look so easy with his curve. You think after nearly two years, they would stop calling for so many fastballs.
  21. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 04:51 AM) Man, the pen is taxed. Such a streaky pen. Once it blows a game in a series, it seems they blow another one.
  22. Time to remove Robertson from closer spot. Maybe someone will claim him off waivers. Might as well make Burdi the closer.
  23. Robertson's fastball command is god awful this year. Really wish they had him throw more 3-2 hooks
  24. Haha good for Anderson. Better news is we don't have to hear Kansas City Special
  25. Yuck....Anderson has been exposed big time since the ASB.
