fathom

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 01:00 AM) I don't think the scout at the game means much. There really doesn't seem to be a guy on Boston's roster that would be a good match for a trade. The White Sox would most likely get a minor leaguer. Just do Frazier for Swihart and move on

QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 01:23 AM) Chirping at Sanchez. Maybe he thought he was relaying location?

QUOTE (beautox @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 02:16 AM) Lol @ fathom, give the kids some time. So far, the hitch in his swing is seemingly making a big impact on his ability to hit. If true, that's questionable scouting.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 12:48 AM) Hey, if you say we need Calhoun, I am on board! And I am just as guilty as anyone in overvaluing Q as anyone...I just want to hear what you guys think is more reasonable. A scout compared Calhoun to Altuve offensively this week

Collins is downright awful right now. I'm just gonna pretend Hansen was first round pick and Collins was 2nd rounder

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 01:05 AM) You wouldn't have taken an Aaron Rowand career from where the Sox were drafting that year? Never said it was smart by me I think it was the early scouting report we heard about him being a grinder

Two biggest scouting blunders for me over last decade: - hoping Sox wouldn't draft Trout because he was too much like Rowand - being against a Q to NYY trade for Judge, Severino and more this past offseason My bad

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 01:58 AM) Solid outing. He's come a far way since early in the season

Avi really struggling

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 01:17 AM) Why don't you and BMags, the sages that you are, propose something that is more reasonable, so the rest of us can be enlightened. In no way referring to you. Outside of you disliking Calhoun, we are on same page.

QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 27, 2017 -> 11:55 PM) People are going to be very disappointed with the return. Agreed some of these proposals are ludicrous.

Could see them targeting Kahnle also.

Acuna is untouchable IMO

fWAR down to -.4

One of the uglier innings you will ever see

QUOTE (thedoctor @ Jun 27, 2017 -> 02:49 AM) fire grudz! But please keep Buddy Bell around

This is pathetic

0-4 3k for Moncada and he got ejected. Charlotte is a complete mess.

Effort this home stand has been mediocre

QUOTE (daa84 @ Jun 27, 2017 -> 02:13 AM) I Think at this point I'd be reasonably happy with him being an effective reliever. The command has never been there, but what happened to him missing bats? K rate has plummeted Yeah even him being an effective reliever is in question. Sounds like they are trying to make him a sinker baller, which is silly to me. He's just not very good anymore

Victor Diaz back for Kanny

Probably the worst Avi has looked all year. Very off-balanced at the plate. Just means a 3 hit game is coming soon

I still question the quality of instruction they are getting in the minors

Wtf is going on with Charlotte, especially their pitching? The ERAs are sickening

QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 27, 2017 -> 12:37 AM) Adolfo also had a double. Really intriguing power he's showing. His month of June has been special
