This being said, should I go with my Abreu jersey, Quintana shirsey, or a 2005 World Series shirt? Can't wear my Sale jersey, as I did so today. I'm thinking the 05 shirt.
Cardinals jersey

Pirate hitters have looked terrible. Alvarez would have been better just sitting with the bat on his shoulders. They take fastballs, miss hanging pitches, then swing at everything in the zone.
Our only hope for a Cubs loss is for the Cubs to have some disasterous and unexpected implosion.
Watched a lot of Pirates this past week hoping they would win enough for home field. I was shocked at how awful they were offensively. Made Reds pitching look challenging and got dominated by Cards pitching besides Wacha. Scored 1 or less in 4 of 7 to end season.

It has NOTHING to do with you.
You don't live in Chicago so you have no way of knowing what it's like in the area right now. Not sure how it's so hard for you to understand
QUOTE (Mike F. @ Oct 8, 2015 -> 02:04 AM)
This game f***ing sucks.
The bandwagon is exploding and I HATE it.
Just going to get worse the next few weeks if this continues. 2003 was crazy
QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 8, 2015 -> 12:56 AM)
Some of their best hitters are lefty (or at least better as lefties, like Fowler). So yeah, Liriano would have made a lot of sense. But you don't sit your #1 starter with a 2.6 ERA and 2.66 FIP for a one game playoff.
Yeah don't blame Hurdle for it. Actually hopeful Jaime Garcia can excel vs this lineup

I liked myself better 6 years ago. I wasn't an alcoholic. lol. I was just giving you a hard time. Your Cubs analysis is pretty spot on. That's why it's hard for most people (me included) to believe you only watch Cubs highlights.
Who were the young players we used to love?
QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 8, 2015 -> 12:43 AM)
Arrieta's zone has definitely been larger than Cole's zone so far.
If TBS zone is right that's 5 for Arrieta outside of it so far called strike and 2 for Cole in it called ball
QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Oct 8, 2015 -> 12:41 AM)
I'll give him this, Arrieta has good control of the fastball to Cervelli......but yet again crappy offspeed pitches.
I think he had thrown 65 or so curves without giving up a hit on it coming into the game. Shows you how bad the NL is against offspeed pitches
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 8, 2015 -> 12:36 AM)
hahaha. Tony just treated fathom.
Liked you better 6 years ago . Of course we probably thought BJ Upton was the best player.
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Oct 8, 2015 -> 12:35 AM)
I thought you only watch Cub highlights on MLB.com???
I do and watch highlights of his outs. This was honestly probably the 10th time I even watched an at bat of Montero this year. Only games I watched a lot of for Cubs lately were the Arrieta Sunday Night games
QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Oct 8, 2015 -> 12:31 AM)
Every start I watch of Arrieta he's hanging pitches and leaving up changeups at an alarming rate. I sit there wondering how no one else sees it. Someone needs to start sitting on them
And he never throws inside to righties
QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 8, 2015 -> 12:22 AM)
Arrieta's better against lefties, so I don't understand why you'd hit Polanco leadoff if you're not going to play Alvarez.
Hurdle really ovethought his lineup. Seems like he's playing not to lose.
QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 8, 2015 -> 12:14 AM)
The scary thing is that this one run might be enough for Arrieta.
Well then Pirates weren't going to win. Harrison and Rodriguez already with bad defensive plays
