QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 06:07 PM) https://mobile.twitter.com/ESPNChiSox/statu...931903903096832 Sox are 29th in total attendance (lol 5 games) and 27th in average. The average is a bit scary because the 5 games should only greatly increase that due to one of those games being opening day. Not concerned yet, but this team better start winning to get more of a buzz from the fans. Today's attendance makes sense given the awful weather.

Normally I would complain about this attendance....but I don't blame people for not going today. The Cubs would have found a way to postpone this game

QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 04:50 PM) LaRoche has a career 88 wRC+ against LHP. That is by no means good, but it's also very much not a disaster, and very much not that far off from what other guys have against the platoon split, and fortunately for us, there are vastly fewer lefties than righties. Out of curiosity, what is his wRC+ against LHP the last 3 years?

On the radio today, they said that McShay's newest mock has the Bears taking L. Williams

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 03:12 PM) Poor Lou. Luckily, Billy still gave him the OK to marry his Mom. What a season. Haha, well said. Ken Griffey Jr. is the best defensive player in Game 163 history

QUOTE (LDF @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 03:50 PM) Randy Johnson, the ultimate player. pitch the opening game of the playoff, came in several days later to pitch in relief when his team had the lead and started 2 days later, this last part i think is true. he was putting everything on the line for the playoff. i even think as a joke he said that he would have played a position, if the team needed him to. He also came in to get Lou to fly out to the warning track (hell of a catch by Griffey Jr.) in the 9th inning of Game 163 at the TwinkieDome

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 04:33 AM) But you'd rather watch a team you hate than a team you love.... Not that you care, but the set up is usually Sox game on tv and monitoring games on mlb.com

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 03:18 AM) I'm pretty sure he likes a certain backup middle infielder Hey, he's about the only one overachieving so far on offense.
-
And to think Eric Cooper was selected for the World Series last year
-
Hawk doesn't seem to like this team very much.
-
Had his pitch to hit on that deep fly. Still, he looks really overmatched against RHP. He's not clearing his hips at all, which is causing him to have minimal bat speed. He's never going to hit for power if they don't fix this.

Ha one time Avi

QUOTE (Condor13 @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 03:43 AM) Dumbass comment. Hewas and is more then ready. He is NOT a reliever His command was bad in some of his more recent outings. I agree he's not a reliever, but he wasn't needed as a starter yet.

QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 03:40 AM) You don't want to live with only power. How many times in the past did sox teams have to wait to hit 2 or 3 run homers in order to have any offense. The issue with this team is guys aren't getting on base or when they finally do the hitters rolling over on pitches or strike out. What this team needs clutch hitting which they are hardly getting. You need to have some people who can put a quick run on the board, especially against teams with great pitching in the AL Central

2 errors on 3 plays for Anderson. He had been doing great on defense

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 03:35 AM) Should I start the attendance 2015 thread? Not worried about it yet
-
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 03:34 AM) Do you guys know the Sox and Hawks are playing right now? How are you watching the Cubs game, and live-commenting on it? That's obsessive-hate. I mean, I watch a lot of Cubs game, but that's what nothing else is on. I don't hate-watch instead of watching my favorite teams......come on. I would rather watch Girls on HBO than hockey

Chance of rain tomorrow?

QUOTE (lord chas @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 03:27 AM) 3rd Cubs win they have pulled out of their ass already this year. Puke That team seems energized and focused. They don't give away at bats at all, as they lead the NL in pitches per AB
-
QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 02:25 AM) 0-9, 5 K's for our 4-6 hitters tonight. Straight getting it done by the "big hitters" in the lineup. We don't have enough power in the lineup. As soon as LaRoche bats, there is no real power threat
-
QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 02:25 AM) Buehrle 202 career wins. I'm telling you I'll never understand why we let him go. He's worth every f***ing dime. He's getting insane run support. Unless he makes this team start hitting, he would be of no help
-
QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 02:23 AM) What purpose does Conor Gillaspie serve on this team, if he can't hit? Lord knows it's not for his defense. He's doing something odd with his hands which makes his swing seem very long
-
QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 03:14 AM) 1 hard hit ball that inning and they got 3 runs Should never throw Soler a first pitch strike. That 2-3-4 just gives really good at bats
-
QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 02:14 AM) I know you love jumping to conclusions, but to make this kind of statement off a guy's major league debut is pretty absurd. I have said this all along. He still needed to work on command and change up

QUOTE (mmmmmbeeer @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 02:13 AM) Can we have a f***ing slider, please? Change? Jesus. Unreal
