  1. Anyone else see the amazing Tosh/Lane Kiffin sketch last night? One of the best things he's ever done. I love when he deals with sports issues.
  2. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Oct 14, 2014 -> 07:47 PM) https://www.facebook.com/notes/chicago-whit...141014_33642117 Interesting no Chris Sale. Any of the bloggers say why not
  3. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 12, 2014 -> 10:16 PM) Why do the Bears persist in running kickoffs out of the end zone? Haven't seen them get one past the 20 yet. They make an insane amount of dumb decisions on special teams
  4. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Oct 11, 2014 -> 08:43 PM) Four top 100 prospects, wonder who is #4 with Rodon, Anderson, & Montas. Basically has to be Hawkins, Micah Johnson, or Danish. Almost positive it's Johnson
  5. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 04:19 PM) RE: MSU vs Notre Dame. I would project MSU with the ever so slightly better wins (we're assuming a FSU loss here) and the fact that the committee will probably want to avoid a rematch if possible, especially if nd gets the doors blown off them. If ND loses to FSU and wins the rest of their games, it's very possible they'll end up with no top 25 wins by the end of the season. Stanford, ASU and USC have 3-4 games remaining where they'll likely be the underdogs. If Utah and Arizona play as well as they've looked so far this year, the PAC 12 standings are going to be a mess.
  6. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 03:21 AM) Good lord Bryce Harper Might be time to move him up in the order!
  7. Not sure if it's been posted, but Showalter is on the verge of winning Manager of the Year in 1994, 2004 and 2014. Also, it was funny hearing Hawk and Stone say the other day that he requests the radar guns be turned up for the Orioles, and slowed down for the opposition when Baltimore has a home game.
  8. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 5, 2014 -> 08:19 PM) The defense was easily the strongest part of the team today. I have no clue how you could watch this game and walk away saying the defense blew it. The offense would have scored ~13 points if not for the defense giving them field position and the defense gave up 2 TD that weren't clearly the product of turnovers by the offense. The defense was mediocre, IMO. Tucker going to the prevent at the end of the half seemed to give Carolina all the momentum. I don't think the prevent defense worked for a single team this weekend in football.
  9. What a heartless 2nd half by Cutler and this offense.
  10. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Oct 5, 2014 -> 08:10 PM) Now what? If it follows rest of 2nd half, either an INT or 4 yard pass to Forte covered by the LB.
  11. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 5, 2014 -> 08:09 PM) this team is bad Yep, hard to win with such a bad defense and special teams.
  12. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 5, 2014 -> 07:59 PM) I'm a pretty big fan of Trestman but we have had an extremely conservative offense yet we still make all the mistakes associated with a high risk one How many passes has Cutler completed longer than 15 yards in the air today? I only remember the AJ one early in the game.
  13. Boston doesn't have a good enough young starting pitcher to include in any Sale deal. I like Owens, but he's not a future ace. Now, if they want to trade Bogaerts and Betts for Q....then go for it.
  14. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 5, 2014 -> 08:08 PM) I agree Conte has got hurt in EVERY game this year. Bernstein tweeting he should retire due to the concussions issues
  15. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Oct 5, 2014 -> 07:07 PM) That missed FG changed the whole momentum of the game. Can we blame it on the ST coach
  16. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 5, 2014 -> 07:05 PM) I will never understand Tucker being brought back. or going into the season relying on Conte
  17. Trevor Scott (#76) needs to crush the Panthers player closest to the ball. Weak effort by him.
  18. Needless to say, the Bears coaching staff felt like the Panthers were vulnerable to the screen.
  19. Goodness, that had to hurt Newton's throwing arm.
  20. QUOTE (zenryan @ Oct 5, 2014 -> 02:36 AM) start the clock on Golden. Embarrassing to lose to a GT team with the athletes Miami has. Miami looked to be surprised GT wanted to run the ball. In all honesty, Miami was clueless at how to stop the option.
