This team looks like they know they had no chance tonight. The play calling is so conservative, which seems like a terrible strategy given this defense.

Avi's OPS is almost twice as high against LHP than RHP this season. Strange, as he was better vs RHP in the past.

It's frustrating they seem to be platooning Semien. Given the adjustment period he's had at new levels, they should be getting him as many at bats as possible.
