  1. I see nothing wrong with what Beckham said. Don't forget that PK is his role model, and this sounds exactly like what PK would have said.
  2. Jose Paniagua needs to be on this
  3. Another triple for Orlando to give KC a late lead. Ugh, things keep getting worse.
  4. Ian Happ is someone that I would like the Sox to pick. Would be a good fit to take over for Melky when his deal is done.
  5. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 11:45 PM) Realistically, what are the odds Ventura is fired before, say, July? June? August? Does anyone think we'd actually let him go? Something I found interesting is that some of the Chicago media members that always preach patience and small sample size were on the radio Wednesday blasting Ventura for the Eaton decision. It's easily the earliest in a season I've heard criticism towards him on the radio.
  6. I want someone that would be a real firecracker in the dugout. Thus, Vince Coleman it is!
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 11:02 PM) I'm totally expecting that next season. Which sucks, cause I really don't want to dislike PK

Can't link it from my phone, but Norris' tweets on Adams' velocity are very disappointing. Supposedly struggled to hit 90 in the 3rd.
  9. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 09:48 PM) They'd probably hire Buddy Bell as the interim. Think about that. If this means removing him from current position, then yes please
  10. Cooper my guess, and if they don't turn it around, they go get Gardy this offseason.

    Adams getting crushed
  12. I was watching a game last week and the manager came out to request a replay for a play in the 9th that wasn't even close, but he acted like he knew he might as well use it. I'm just thankful I wasn't watching the last half of the game live.
  13. Two straight where who knows if Sox win the game, But Ventura's decisions in the 9th made it a lot easier for other team.
  14. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 08:18 PM) Gee where would that come from? It's obvious that nobody plays with any sense of urgency for Robin. Ozzie had his faults (big time faults don't get me wrong) but the one thing you could say is that he almost always had his guys ready to play and would go to bat for them against the umps, other team, and media. Robin never has his guys ready to play, hardly ever sticks up for them when the umps screw up, and his media handling ability is gonna get really tested if this team is 10 under in July. Plain and simple, the team came out flat this year in what was supposed to be a huge season for the franchise. It's shocking that they're already 5.5 games back of Detroit.
  15. QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 08:14 PM) Really need to start worrying about the offense. Through today offense average down to .217 and obp at .265. 15 walks and 67ks with only 25 runs in 9 games. 2.78 runs per game. 3 players over .300, 4 players at .200+ and 6 players below .200. Not good They didn't hit or field in spring training either. I was shocked at their lack of power in ST.
  16. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 08:22 PM) You still have to score 2. We didn't. We also scored 0 against Tommy Milone in our home opener. If we continue to score less than 3 runs a game we will have problems Be nice if we can't stop playing a DH that can't hit LHP
  17. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 09:09 PM) You getting ready for the fire sale already? No but better for Sox that he looks good in a loss than we lose and he does awful
  18. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 09:08 PM) Managers, in my opinion have very little to do with the performance on the field. The players are paid to preform. A manager is paid to put his players in the best position to succeed (lineup decisions, bullpen hooks) and challenge tough plays. Robin failed at his job in a big way today. No other way to slice it. Same with Eaton bunting with two strikes
  19. Guess I missed Samardzijas good innings. Boost that stock buddy!
  20. Robin didn't want to lose our last timeout.
  21. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 08:51 PM) Not if ur 5 1/2 -7 1/2 games back back after two weeks in April and your franchise has been swallowed up by Kris Bryant hysteria. The Sox needed a hot start to gain some attention. They haven't gotten that and Cubs have and with Bryant up now, all the momentum from the offseason hype is absolutely gone.
  22. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 08:45 PM) I'm not a blame the manager type of fan when it comes to performance. THAT loss is square on Robin. 5.5 games back already. Ventura two straight games with his head so far up his ass in the 9th
  23. I wonder why we even pay for a manager. Oh well, this offense sucks
  24. Ha, what a joke this ump is.
  25. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 06:26 PM) Sox get 1 run in 4 innings. Offense sucks. Tigers get 1 run in 4 innings. Samardjiza sucks. Have you watched the game? Not being sarcastic, want to know if you see the meatballs he's throwing up there today.
