  1. Stay hot Wise. Also, it seems like a lot of damage being done against Liriano's fastball.
  2. QUOTE (Baron @ Aug 16, 2012 -> 11:43 PM) Nice swing Olmedo....go sit down Again, no business being in the majors. They should have had Lopez on a flight to Toronto last night and put him in the lineup if they wanted to get Beckham a breather.
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 16, 2012 -> 08:48 PM) The kid just has a long swing that isn't conducive to sitting for long periods of time. And he is also much better against LHP, but for some reason, seemed like he was facing a lot of RHP earlier in the year.
  4. If you're going to play Olmedo, it should be against a RHP. His performance vs LHP in the minors this year has been awful. Besides for his inclusion, I'm fine with the rest of this lineup.
  5. 1. Thompson 2. Hawkins 3. Walker 4. Sanchez 5. Snodgress 6. Johnson 7. Castro 8. Barnum 9. Mitchell 10. Petricka 95. Molina
  6. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Aug 16, 2012 -> 03:15 AM) Yep. At the very least he's giving you plus defense in these bigger parks. I think that alone could win the Sox a game over the next 6 weeks. Also gives you insurance if Rios' back injury flares up again
  7. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Aug 16, 2012 -> 03:03 AM) I think he should play 1/2 the time against right-handers. I like his speed in the bigger OF's like Toronto, KC, and Detroit. It's a great problem to have if Viciedo is swinging the bat well.
  8. Bad Humber on the mound. Be really nice for Reed to get the night off.
  9. So what happened to Hudson?
  10. Great to see him strikeout the two lefties he faced. Could be a huge weapon down the stretch.
  11. Lost in the perfect game is that it's another loss for a WC contender!
  12. Not only is Span a White Sox killer, but he also gets injured right before a series against the Tigers and misses the whole series.

QUOTE (Jake @ Aug 15, 2012 -> 05:34 AM) At some point we have to start exercising caution with the roster moves. You don't want a huge portion of the team being fluid. Lots of pieces have shuffled around this year, from the bench to some very big contributors. Weird dugout vibes can be a product of all of this type of thing. You just don't want to see Hudson possibly removed from the roster
  14. QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 15, 2012 -> 02:46 AM) You sure respond to me a lot though. I love it. Sox won, be happy
  15. Nice to see Q get a win. Sox got lucky in this game, but we'll take it!
  16. GAME! Great job by Reed, and we got a lot of hard hit outs right at our defender.
  17. Missed his spots like crazy to Rasmus. Really should have attacked him with the change-up.
  18. Use the change-up here Reed
  19. QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 15, 2012 -> 01:34 AM) They are in a pennant race. Suck it up. Put your best relievers out there. No problem with Crain not going tonight after going more than an inning last night. If anything, it's too bad they didn't let him go 2 innings last night.
  20. Hawk doing his best to jinx our defense
  21. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 15, 2012 -> 02:31 AM) Plus Myers pitched yesterday. Do you think that having to basically have two loogys on the team at the same time in Veal/Septimo is a bad idea, which in turns cause lack of depth of righty relievers as well as on our bench?
  22. QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Aug 15, 2012 -> 02:26 AM) Just got home. Matt Thornton is just terrible right now. He needs to learn a cutter to save his career, IMO
  23. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Aug 15, 2012 -> 02:26 AM) I feel like Robin listens to fathom a lot after he suggests something. Sox are screwed then
