  1. Oh crap, I hope he doesn't lose his speed cause of that.
  2. Thanks Boston for throwing him a 2-2 offspeed pitch. And wow is Bourjos fast.
  3. Good job keeping them down. Let's get some more base runners here
  4. Ok, this Tigers/Angels game is intense. Aybar just bunted and Verlander looked at him for about 10 seconds.
  5. Here's where Buehrle needs to hold down the Red Sox.
  6. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 31, 2011 -> 08:04 PM) DOubly punk move by Guillen. That was bad. That Tigers team is so unlikeable
  7. Umm...oh my god! Hate to say it, but Rios has had three good at bats in a row.
  8. Hey!!!!!!!!! First legit hit of the year against LHP.
  9. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 31, 2011 -> 08:01 PM) This offense is very bad. Greg Walker should be gone and the team should be retooling a bit. This really is frustrating right now. Sadly, you know if Ozzie returns next year, then Walker will be back as well. I do have a feeling that in 10 days, we'll be trying to trade anyone and everyone through the waiver wire.
  10. Alexei looks like he's ready for the season to be over.
  11. Some poor defense the last two nights that won't show up as errors.
  12. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 31, 2011 -> 06:52 PM) Tigers have given up 488 runs so far. They are the inverse Sox, and id rather rely on pitching. Outside of Verlander that staff is marginal. Considering Sox have 3 reliable starters now and Tigers brought in a very solid starter in Fister, there's been a huge shift with regards to starting pitching in this division the last 10 days.
  13. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 31, 2011 -> 06:50 PM) Indians might be close to getting Wandy Rodriguez. They sure aren't standing pat at this deadline... Good grief, SELL KENNY!
  14. Lillibridge looked like he's never seen a slider. Verlander no-hitter thru 7
  15. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 31, 2011 -> 06:49 PM) You guys sure have a lot of love for a team with a negative run differential and a team that has 12 come back wins in the 9th at home. If the Sox were in the West or East theyd have no shot, in the Central theres a chance a 500 team wins the division. I don't worry about Indians. The Tigers to me just seem to be the class of the division after they made a few moves to improve some of their weak areas.
  16. Nice aggressive swing by Morel! Good to get one run back, as Miller is making a lot of bad pitches.
  17. People aren't going to the games because this team is not entertaining and the ticket prices are too high. That horrible stretch earlier in the year turned off everyone.
  18. Zielger is a great get for Arizona. He has a really cheap contract the next few years. He's no Tony Pena.
  19. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 31, 2011 -> 07:37 PM) Sox fans wont come to the park during a rebuild, ownership knows this and thats why you most likely wont ever see the Sox do a complete rebuild. And they're not coming to the ballpark for a 125 million dollar payroll team.
  20. QUOTE (kwolf68 @ Jul 31, 2011 -> 07:36 PM) So when this season goes to crap we'll sell then, because I don't think the Sox are better than at least 1 team ahead of them or the team behind them. Still stuns me people think we're better than the Tigers. Our lineup just isn't capable of putting together a big run. If you think Dunn's going to revert back to form this season, then you're really hoping for a miracle.
  21. Wow, let two of their worst players hurt you Mark. We're stuck in baseball hell right now.
