BTW, don't think that the Phils getting dominated by the Giants pitching the last few days wasn't a huge boost for the Sox with regards to Quentin's value.

KW is flipping this roster trying to make it more flexible financially in the coming years. It's not hard to understand. If he trades anyone from our core roster, it will be at a position where we have a replacement (ie: Viciedo for Quentin, Ohman/Sale for Thornton). It's why you don't see him trying to trade AJP or Alexei right now.
